Thanks for the great walkthrough and rules explanation. The potential conventions you introduced are great for new players. It’s a cool game indeed. I’ve not played at 2-players but the set up and play looks interesting. I’m enjoying the 4-player game a lot.

Would the 4-player scoring condition where all hands are empty only occur when one of the "7/Yokai" cards was dealt up to decide trump? Otherwise if all seven of the 7/Yokai cards are in play, one team would have to have more than three of them. You could end up with 3 each only if the remaining Yokai was out of play as the named trump card. Right? By the way, this was a great tutorial - thanks!!!
Yes, when one of the 7s is the face up trump card is the only time it would occur. So, it is a pretty rare occurrence, but can definitely happen from time to time. You are welcome and thanks so much for watching 🥰 I hope you enjoy the game!
