It will be worth it in 3 years when depreciation hits these and they are worth 30k. with low miles but brand new nope not worth at all. I do find RS3's holding values way better though.
My 2016 Audi S3 Prestige was worth 32k when I sold it in October 2021. And I never had problems. Now I have a 2023 S3 on order and that one will be a beast.
It’s funny how they’ve turned their brand around because in the 70s and 80s they were total crap the junkyard was full of beautiful Audis with blown engines in the 80s and in the 70s they were all rust buckets. I have a VW Touareg today that shares the same platform as a Q7 I need to replace my Sideview mirror I could get one for 150 bucks my poor neighbor had the same problem on his Q7 and it was $600 so as a brand it’s just a way to extract more money from the customer if you ask me my VW has a much nicer interior than the Q7 as well
The interior is awesome. Literally my favorite feature of the car. Keep the curves elsewhere, the lines bring some aggression that’s missing in most modern cars.
2022 Golf R has a more powerful version of the S3 engine. The transmission behaviour in golf R is more performance oriented (ie more aggressive in a nurburgring setting, does not auto upshift during manual mode) ... Handling wise the golf R is much better due to the rear torque splitter and aluminium subframe (the S3 lacks these)... and yet the Golf R is 45k when fully loaded.. so 15k less

the whole center area where you change gears is awful. Piano black and a truly terrible volume control. Also, can you still not display carplay google maps in the gauge cluster display? I know on my 2018 Q5 you could only display their navigation in there. Great car, but certainly not worth that price

So much for premium. After having ventilated seats in my current car I will never subject my nuts to sweaty ass black leather seats in the summer ever again.
I wonder why Audi loves to keep their car batteries in the back of the car. What if you need a battery replacement? (You can jump start the car from a + terminal under the hood.)
Weight balance, exactly and really, how often do you change the battery? Once every 5+years. The location is no issue for replacement. It’s designed for access to replace.
You can get a 2022 Golf R for 45k with all bells and whistles, with more power, and much better handling than the S3, and more practicality... for 15k extra, the S3 Is only moderately more premium inside IMO... somewhat more insulated from road noise.
Apparently you’ve never driven a Quattro. Put it on a backroad and feel the way it handles the sharp turns, or put down a few feet of snow, and watch it easily outperform suvs and trucks.

I’m not a Tesla fan, but with the Giga Factories, the quality control is fixed for models produced specifically at these factories. The Tesla will not handle even close to the Audi, which I am not a fan of either.

Bmw is missing out on this segment. If you NEED four doors then by all mean gets this S3. But…..if you don’t for something around 50k I’d be getting the m240i XDrive over this car easily. The m240i craps all over this car. And it’s engine is way superior.
Considering it's pretty much the exact same price, 11.5 1/4 mile and 0-60 in 3.2 seconds is a bit more of a value. Hard to beat he Model 3 Performance on dollar/performance value. If you don't like electric then like mentioned above, the Golf R, the Kia Stinger or the WRX STI are all similar vehicles for less money.
You should compare it to the previous model. Inside the old one looks better. Yes the outside is more aggressive but the fake vents are just unacceptable. You would find performance nearly the same as the 2016 S3 which had nearly same 0 to 60 numbers. Not sure why reviewers make it as if the newer model is always better than the predecessor? Not always true.
Ya but the R is around 43-45 fully loaded. a bare bones S3 is 45k but good luck finding one bare bones, there always equipped around 50k minimum. And you don’t get half the stuff he has in this S3.
@@InfoumusMOBB Just built a golf R thru their build and price - it's about 6K less than the S3 my wife just purchased.. Dunno where you get those numbers from. The S3 starts at 50K, can add the adjustable dampers for 1.3 and you're done. The tech in the audi and infotainment is worth the 6K.
I see a little bit of Kona on the front-end and a little bit of last gender sonata on the rear. It's crazy how some Hyundai models can compete with the Germans. I guess getting a couple of their engineers helps too lol.
I don't know how you manage to see these things but if your point is that the Kona also has a large grille, then I'd say Hyundai has done a good job copying the single frame Audi has been using since 2004. :D It is always funny how the supporters of cheap cars try to compare them with the premium segment. Yes, such cars have a great price performance, I'm right there with you. But still it is a world of difference to sit in a Hyundai or in an Audi or Mercedes. $55000 for a 4 banger, no thanks. I’ll take a Camaro SS. Exhaust sounds better. The cup holders are horrible, the armrest console storage is bad also. Even the regular A3 at $45000 is a bad price.

Do you own one? I own 2. 03 A4 and a 17 A4. Sure you pay a little more for a part when needed but honestly it’s all about maintenance. And worth every single penny when I push down the the gas pedal and give mustangs and Camaros a run for their money. Add snow to the mix, and they eat suvs effortlessly. They don’t break down when you simply just take care of them.
Used to drive Evos and WRXs and the Tesla is basically a better version of that without gears or the need to hardly ever hit your brakes. If you are into luxury and a solid feel to the build quality, the Tesla probably isn't the right car for you though. It's more about the driving experience with the Tesla. The doors have a hollow feeling to them and the panels do still have some issues, at least as of the 2020 model. Gas cars still do rule for road trips and accessibility to rural areas though.

Main reason it's high is Audi Aust already packed most of the options in as standard in Aust where it is options for overseas models. There's only one package to speak of to add.
