I’m 71, at times my thoughts get tangled up in thinking about my future and the possibility of my needing nursing home care or something out of my control. I will reel myself back to “ today is all I can think about right now “. I agree with Nicole… we can’t change the past and tomorrow hasn’t happened. I’m happy to see you both happy.
Jack I just lost my wife on August 11th we were married for 50 years on August 10th I could never ever get married again! Best of luck to you with your new bride. Want to ask you a question do you feel guilty?
August 11, the Feast of St. Philomena, virgin and martyr, was my wedding anniversary. I had 20 of them before my beautiful wife left this word to go to Heaven. It’s been a couple years now and it’s still so hard. For you, it’s so fresh. Give yourself grace as you grieve your loss. God bless.
