Kolkata Pride Walk 2023: A joyous stride towards equality

Started in 1999, the Kolkata Pride walk is the oldest LGBTQ pride walk of India and South Asia. Hundreds of people hit the street annually to ensure a queer friendly society for the future. Donning flamboyant attires, holding placards that scream of love and bonded in solidarity under the historic pride flag, the celebrations are not only graced by the people of the queer community, but others who have pledged their unwavering support towards the cause. Here's Kolkata's annual celebration of love.

I think we should make Bharat pride walk...and spread awareness to all over India...we can walk from Kolkata to Chennai to Bengaluru to Mumbai to Delhi...so people from Villages also get to know who are the LGBTQ ...the person who are scared to come out they will inspire....

मैं समलैंगिक नहीं बनना चाहता..लेकिन मैं अपनी भावनाओं को कैसे रोक सकता हूं..यह स्वाभाविक रूप से ऐसा है। सबसे पहले तो कोई भी समलैंगिक समलैंगिक नहीं बनना चाहता.. कौन समाज के खिलाफ जाना चाहता है? अनावश्यक ही. लेकिन वह ऐसा नहीं कर सकता।भगवान ने उसे इस तरह बनाया है कि वह खुद को बदल नहीं सकता। तो लोग हमें क्यों नहीं समझते?
