There’s so many secret spots to go to around that whole area 😊 my trick is I don’t actually fish in Pulaski I go just outside of it and have some super awesome spots that aren’t packed with people
@@getemhooked I had a old timer tell me that when I was getting schooled by a king in the black hole he said that I did it and that fish turned on a dime and came screaming back up river
Love salmon fishing up in Pulaski, I’m about an hour and a half away, and every year I go up for salmon fishing and to catch some steelhead too! Some parts on the trail you’re walking along I either fished there or walked past it! I would be cool to see you out on the river! And as I’m saying this, I’m gonna go back up soon for steelhead/salmon wish me luck! Edit:After watching a bit of the video at 8:20 the spot he was at I was there too!

@@willdevore try and target the rapids with a fly or a egg sack. When it’s late salmon season, go to Mexico, behind the Mexico high school there’s a little creek you can Jump across, and that’s filled with salmon. But you gotta wait until mid October. Good luck
@@getemhooked Okay Thanks! I like to spincast . I was up 2 weeks ago and used 16lb with a 12lb leader. Was just seeing what other people who spin use. I switched to 12:8 on the 2nd day, that was able to hold up also. Thanks again!

Little tip on the runners is tap bottom of rod they turn around I’ve done it many times and it works
