I banged this out in 2 days I really hope you guys enjoy, even if it isn't my usual oc content.

dolores (in the movie) does everything slilently. when she’s singing with others you can’t even hear her. when they lose their gifts and dolores sings you can actually hear her and it’s how’s her singing loud like her body language says it. just cool details

This song was really written for camilo. And although he has a dominant personality(entp) , the personality confusion he goes through really makes him have one of the worst gifts. And lmao because of the personality confusion she went through, i compare her to myself. and for the artist this is one of the best encanto animations i've seen i support you🕺

I love how Camilo’s a fan favourite yet doesn’t get that much screen time in the movie, disney fumbled the bag with his character fr, I hope they give him more of a present role in the sequel if they ever make one
I really hope this blows up seeing how well it was made, and how each image conveyed what was happening in the song perfectly! (Also, I just looove this artstyle and would love to see more of it!)

I imagine this happened and the cracks start appearing due to the Camillo loosing himself. As the song start the cracks starts to heal
The person who made the song is amazing at coming up with this stuff and I can picture this song being in the actual movie if it was a little longer but I can see Camilo and Dolores in camilo’s room whatever that looks like and then dancing while singing this song with camilo’s face slowly fading out and then back in

I really like the idea of Camilo having identity problems because of his gift, just fits the theme of everyone in the family having a lot of problems despite looking perfect on the outside.

The creators of Encanto are said that although not shown in the film Camilo suffers from pressure and has insecurities, although he hides it under his cheerful attitude. Although he appreciates her gift, it makes him question his sense of self, and constantly morphing for others tires him.

I have a headcanon that Camilo’s name was originally just Milo but once he got his gift people started calling him Camilo as a nickname, cuz…. yknow, chameleons and all. And that just became what everyone calls him
