So I know this is an older video, but it took me awhile to realize this. The bulbs already on the bike are also the smaller prongs, the black bit on the back of those original bulbs are actually adaptors, the actual bike uses H4 prongs with an H7 bulb, once I moved the adapter, I had no problems with lighting

The rubber boot is seamless tight around the fan on the LED. Idk I don’t ever wash my bike with soap and water. I use spray on products from meguiars and wipe down with a microfiber. But with that said you should be fine I mean I wouldn’t purposely spray the hose into the backside of the light.
I can’t imagine a raindrop falling straight down, turning 90 degrees, and entering the backside of the fan motor on the lights. So no you should have no problem with rain especially if you are moving (riding the bike) your windscreen covers that whole area.

I guess it could be but I ended up testing them both ways and it makes a very minimal difference because it’s about how it reflects from the way the housing is designed not really about the direction of the angle of the light bulbs.

Hi I have a cbr 600f4i with h7 led bulbs, the problem I'm having is I'm blinding especially when I'm behind them, I can't really ride the bike at night, I was curious to which way around you installed the bulbs, I have Mictuning bulbs, I have mine facing the other way, out to the sides, maybe I might turn them, did it make a difference to the low beam, this is where most my issues are , thanks

@@z33_matty62 Dude....actually you dont have to manufacture the connector wires. Your original H7 bulb actually comes with an ADAPTER (the black thing at the rear end of your original H7 bulb) Its detachable. Detach it and use it for your new LED bulb. If you notice your headlamp power socket it comes with a 3 hole (which is meant for H4 bulbs) but only 2 wires connected. So the adapter is actually the converter from H4 to H7. That should solve the problem getting the led bulb pins into the soclet

But yes you are correct in the sense that they do make H7 bulbs that plug directly in with no fan NOW. I wouldn’t say they are motorcycle or automotive specific though.

Muga_d_biker lmao that would be an extremely rare and specific case. The fact that you’re assuming these lights are bright enough to completely blind you for any amount of time based on my video is interesting to say the least / it’s also not my fault if you want to stare directly into the beam of light from oncoming traffic... as I have already stated, these are no brighter than any modern day car with LED/ HID Lights and have a significantly lower beam angle than any truck/ let alone any vehicle that’s lifted. So I’d say I’m al good especially since they passed my states inspection. So with that they must be fine but thanks for the comment 👌
