Master Romanillos exudes the love for the guitar in such a beautiful way. He gave the world so much, and we as guitar builders, players, and admirers owe him immensely.
Thanks for posting this. It brings back such fond memories of the 2 sessions (2003 and 2006) I spend in Spain at Jose's workshop, a great luthier and wonderful person.
"Where is my book?" he asks, as he aimlessly searches the shelves of his substantial library. She goes directly to it, "here it is". What a wonderful series of interviews.
Muchas gracias por compartir esta entrevista! Admiro enormemente el trabajo de Romanillos y fue un placer escucharlo hablar sobre su maravilloso oficio!
Thank you. I am glad you are enjoying the videos. I have not had time to make a video or even a sound recording of the guitar I made in the class. One time I hope to do this.
Thank you very much Robert for sharing this series of excellent videos and fascinating, interesting and valuble information! Don José Romanillos is such a humble, unassuming and affable person who is willing to share his knowledge. btw: do you have a video of the guitar you made during the course?
