I'm a Minnesota skier, and I am most interested in the Blizzard Anomaly 88 this year. I carve a lot, but like versatility for heavy and variable snow. I have not liked Blizzard skis much in the past, but the Anomaly is getting such good reviews that I will probably buy one this year to replace one of my skis. I hope you can convince Blizzard to send you a pair for review.
Hi Elliott 😊 I really want to buy the “Octo” but the “Serpo” fits more my ski style. I am looking forward to your review of the “Serpo” 93mm underfoot with a 20 meter turning radius.
Hey Elliot, Great Video, and Happy Halloween! I want to use your link on the Black Crow Atris. While there is still a good deal, I don't know what size I should get. I am 187.5 cm tall and weigh 188 lbs, and I would say I'm an advanced skier. I ski out west, mostly in alpine bowls. Should I get the 184s or the 190s? Cheers!
I have to stick with my Mirus Cor's over the Octo's. They are intriguing and given how well the MC's came out I figured they must be good. Unfortunately they seem like a bit of a miss for me. Mainly because they have a softer tail than the Mirus Cors. So they went narrower and increased the turning radius. These things point towards a ski meant for more aggressive carving and speed but then they saddled them with a softer tail. Doesn't make sense to me especially because I ski hard and weigh a lot. The other reviews on the ski haven't been as positive either. In any case it's very hard to pick a ski of the year with so many cool new models out there!
What separates the Octo and Maverick 88 TI from QST? The skis that I would love to try this season break into 4 categories.. Early Season Groomers, Mid Season Groomers, Mid Season All Mountain and Late Season All Mountain.. Early Season Groomers I would love to try anything that can get on and off edge really quick.. Stockli Laser or Montero, The Atomic Ski that Shiffrin is on, There are tons of skis in this category and I could ski them on groomers Mid-Season as well.. Mid-Season Groomers.. I like skis that have 88-105ish underfoot.. I like skis I really can open up.. I would like to try the Mantra 95, Kastle has some skis between 98-108 that I would like to try.. I am still waiting for Stockli to make sure that they fixed the Stormiders series from breaking at the heal.. I think the Blizzards are now Peregrine so I would probably go with the 100 under foot.. I would also like to try Nordica Enforcer 99.. Also, Maverick 95 TI and Salomon QST 98.. Late Season.. This is a weird one because I don't want to hit a rock early season or late season.. What I would like to try would be Nordica Unleashed 104. DPS $$$ Kaisen or Wailer 108-112ww and I would like to try and compare the RP (15m turn radius) to the other one I think it is CP with a longer turn radius.. I wouldn't mind trying Armada Whitewalkers or JJs 106-112ww.. Head Kore 106ish.. Atomic 105 CTI.. Blizzard Rustler 10.. Rossignol Soul 105.. I tried the Salomon QST 106 x 188 and I would like to try it in the 180 length..I am sure I have some of the waist widths wrong but in that category..
I know You guys don't always love the long intros so start at 2:00 to skip ahead. Happy Halloween!
You are no Backseat Donnie my friend LOL that was funny Happy Halloween have fun!

I have a pair of Atomic Vantage 97s, I love them. You may have convinced me to just replace an Atomic with an Atomic.
Last year's Maverick 95s are steepley discounted same for 100s:

Me too, the Serpo supposedly has a lot of rebound energy which I love. The blue is sweet too!
I am guessing you are going to Cham to test Black Crows skis!
