His 3rd album was technically MMLP, but I think the third album you were referring to is Eminem Show, bc that’s his best in my opinion. I love all the lyrical ability and doubles in this album but I agree that it’s not his best. Almost Famous, Cold Wind Blows and Untitled are CRAZY though. Idk if you’ve reacted to his Despicable freestyle either but it was around Recovery time
It's funny, saying it's a middle of the road album, I'd like to see an artist with better albums than Eminem has, I'm not attacking you, but a lot of times people don't realize how great this guy is, I'd like to see your favorite rapper make a song like this
I think there’s plenty of artists with better albums than these few he released 🤷🏽♂️ music is subjective, people can be upset about it, but it doesn’t change my opinion

Eminem show was his fourth bro, and recovery was his most critically acclaimed, and Eminem show was actually more critically acclaimed and I for one consider a little better than mmlp, although they're counting infinite as his first on that Google list u looked up so im going to assume you didn't mean to leave Eminem show off... I will say, I feel like your not necessarily listening to the better songs off recovery, which maybe thats on purpose, but for me what made recovery great was how layered he made enormous hits at the time like not afraid, no love, watch me burn, etc.. although other than those two and half of encore i agree, i hate relapse to this day and am pretty sure eminem does too, and half of encore was corny, although encore did include joints like mockingbird and when I'm gone... I personally didn't love mmlp2, and most of revival... but then consider kamikaze maybe his best album, so outside of that I'd agree...

Recovery imo is Em’s 3rd worst album… Revival, Encore then Recovery. This album made no sense unless you overcame addiction. It’s a bunch of commercial songs and random lyrics over weird production choices.

"Love the way you lie" is only 1 song. 1 song out of 16 doesn't equate to "a bunch"
