This was before my time but I appreciate what these games brought to the table. I just purchase “Intellivision Lives” for the Nintendo DS to play this and other titles after watching this.
I got that game too, for PS2.. but you need the intellivision controller for a lot of the games it turned out, plus it was glitchy lol. So I bought an old 2609 on ebay to fix that, WORTH IT!
Coolest game I had in 80's the Starbase Alert voice sounded like Cylons from Battlestar Galactica TV! Only thing better was the 2006 PS2 game of Battlestar Galactica with Cylon commander taunting you with that voice!
What a Flashback. i must have been addicted to it in 70s the older gaming system i had anoth one i think it was Evil KNEVIL we had to jump busses and cars all in beautiful black and white. Funny A lot of the old consoles are a wanted thing and today they are being remade. but this game still gets me addicted to it over and over. SPACE SPARTAINS we'd hear throught the game. back then these games to us were as good as any game from our era on the market today.
Loved this for a while but was always a bit disappointed that the only possible ending was to be eventually killed. But I think all the voice games were like that.
Man this was hours of fun when I was a kid!
I’m just here to hear the Intellivoice say “zero eligans”
That's a lot of TIE Interceptors you're blasting away at. :P

I believe the controller overlay pops up on the lower screen of the ds

Played this many times and never thought to turn off the tracking computer. Makes a ton of sense now.
This was my favorite but I'm curious what would be the advantage of turning of the tracking computer?
@@kmelodic4545 smaller target for the alien fireballs
love it!..."hello commander"
“Computer reporting…”
"Starbase Two Under A Track."
3d phases look like Star Trek on the Vectrex
So cool.
Nice gameplay Phil!

It was possible to win Bomb Squad
Many computer games back then were like that. Just one aim, survive as many waves as possible.
