Glad I found your video because I don’t have any instructions and I didn’t know how to refill the pen. And just FYI, you said to gently pat the fabric yet you ran your finger down the seam instead of gently patting the fabric. In the videos where I have watched Shelley, she says she uses an iron on the cotton setting. So, which one is it?
We are sew happy to hear this video was helpful with refilling your Easy Press Pen. The method used to pat the glue is preferential to the user, as long as you make connection with the two pieces of fabric where you have placed the glue. We do recommend pressing and not gliding your iron when using heat to set the glue. We have had feedback based off different brands of iron's that the cotton setting can sometimes be too hot when setting, so we do recommend using a low wool setting. If you have any other questions or we can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to reach out to us at acornmakers@bqskproducts.com
Hello Sandra, When you change the nib tip is preferential, however if you do not pre-wash or treat your fabric and you use a lot of coulourful fabrics we recommend having different tip for like colours. We sell our replacement tips in packs of 5 or you can get them in our Easy Press Pen Essentials pack
