As much as I see the hate for this playstyle, I get it. I play all 3 classes and find the most fun comes from aggressive, close-range, sweaty gameplay. Everyone is saying "XIM" because they weren't countering it or playing accordingly, and they got shit on and couldn't handle it. Now we're in an AR/pulse meta. All of the XIM accusers are bot walking with summoner in hoards but at least they got what they wanted.

Bro i went from D1 controller to D2 M+KB, then years later went back to controller just to see the difference and wow the aim assist on controller makes the pvp so easy to lock on heads. I personally would rather M+KB cause the turning on controller gives me a headache but damn you can see how easy you lock on heads plus crouch spam in these clips compared to how hard it is on M+KB.

i dont think the meta really dies, smg/autos with roller/xim is still a pain in the ass to play against. They keep adding broken weapons that favors ximmers man, unending tempest and prosecutor etc. I hope one they can add the feature of input device queue, let us have the option to only play in MnK pool.
smgs are still very good, it just isn't hard meta anymore. 120s on mnk are one of the most broken things inside of pvp, so i would recommend using that if ur looking for something that favors ur input. also if there were separate pools for the different inputs it would be horrible for the pvp population imo

there's a bunch of things that affect the way shot registration works inside of crucible, but with cloudstrke specifically you can hit a lot of shots that ur not really supposed to hit
