So you will meet challenges but as far as you can get through it, you are set succeed massively. I am presently going through this process. I am not an expert in the field so I cannot give you details. However these are the big lines:
1) You have to identify the type of land you need depending on the activity you will be developing on it, then check if that type of land is available in Mauritius
2) contact and work with quality agencies that will assist you and provide you with the expertise to avoid being scammed (so you will have to pay them)
3) You will equally need to hire a notary to abide with the government's requirements and law of Mauritius
