Great video Paul and incredibly relaxing. We had property in Learmonth and we still have a connection there and I still remember the old steam trains, I absolutely love the area you show. The bike looks magnificent and those roads are so empty which is a riders dream. I will let you know when I can come up and have that coffee. Stay upright and keep on keeping on,👍
Amazing video as usual sir, many thanks for all your efforts to put out such great information detailed videos 😊 I am planning to get the Chief 111 , I’m 5 foot 8 and when I sat on the bike I felt my legs cranked up with the mid controls and with the straight bar it felt more of a lean forward position, I test drive the dark horse bobber with the 5 inch high bar and forward controls; I loved the forward controls but my shoulders were not comfy with the bar unfortunately. I take really long rides and I want the most relaxed seating position; thought to get the 5 inch bars installed but lower the angle to be the same position as the scout Classic and change the controls from mid to forward! May I have your opinion on this setting? 😊
Nice ride. Perhaps a separate back support is the way forward, at least on long rides, since relying on your backpack is fine, so long as it's contents remain in it for the duration of the ride. Take anything out, like a rain cover, and straight away you've lost some of the padding.

Cheers Steven, please do!
That setup looks bloody great. Suits the bike
Cheers Doug!
Get one of those cameras that you can strap to your chest
That's where I mount mine now, on the chest
Not very much traffic on this ride. Looks like you have dialed in...are you recording with your left hand?
Yeah it was very quiet Jerry. Nice and relaxing. Yep, hand-holding the gopro in the left hand. I get heaps more different view angles that way.

Working on that right now. 😉
Cheers Steve.
hey, what saddlemen seat is that? Love the looks. Thanks
found your other video on the seat. thanks
Yep, Saddlemen Renegade Solo 👍
Hi paul. Great video.
I had a question i would like to ask. Why you did not buy saddlemen step up seat and chose solo seat instead.
Thank you. Cosmetic reasons to be honest, I didn't like the look of the step up seat on the Chief.
Paint a esky to match, have cold drink on the remote stops.
I really like this colour and what you did to the bike. How tall are the bars? 8 or 10"?
Thank you! They're the taller 8" rise mini apes from Indian. Indian measure their bars by the vertical rise not total height.
Peter Fonda Easy Rider
Hah!
Great day out! Arm chair comfort, looks like.
Cheers Guy! it will be by the time I'm finished :)
