I have been unemployed for a very long time, moved to a new country a year and a half ago and do not know ANYONE here. Although my accounts are active, I don't use social media but for years, YT has been my biggest distraction. Also, I have been studying some IT stuff for some time to try to have a better career and I do basically everything around the house but to sum up, I spend/waste most of my time in front of a screen, and life is going by...
Hi Liam. I love how your video has elements of balance! We always get swept into the currents of the grindset culture and that anything that's not pushing your career or helping you make money is essentially useless, but your information suggests otherwise! Thanks for another great video.
Now that I know how annoying disruptions are, I'm always reluctant to call anyone when I am free .... because I don't want to them hate me for interrupting them. Arguh!

Liam- great video. I love the idea of making a list of things you can do when you have time. True story- when I met my husband I fell super hard for him. I knew I was spending too much time thinking about him when I wasn’t with him so I literally made a list of things to do when I was thinking about him too much! It all worked out pretty well as we have been married almost 13 years. That started me on the habit of making list of things to do when…. Whatever. Love the ideas you shared. Some of them were the same as ideas on my list, and a couple were new to me. I will add them to my list!
Thank you for these! I actually thought about this today bc social media during my free time made me more tired than my actual job. So thank you! Super helpful
You're living a life I admire to live man :) might be a little sadist of me to write this, but make a video on the other side of things also, recently I came across a post from a motivational speaker telling that he was in depression for the past last year due to COVID and stuff and has eaten a lot of junk and things like that, and that makes me feel more connected to him, seeing okay sometime things go the other way for him too yk, loved your content, keepgoing
With young kids, I average about 8 hours a week of spare time. I find it rewarding to read, take courses and do a bit of self care to unwind. It does get better and even with very little, we can do a lot for ourselves
Very helpful video Liam, really loved some of the more productive ways to spend my free time, and that freelancer/upwork idea was brilliant! Keep up the great content and helpful suggestions! Love your work, and your videos!!
I really appreciated this video, Liam. I'm currently in between jobs and while my job search takes up a lot of time (naturally) and I do have a small side hustle, I have at times struggled to figure out what else I should do to fill my time. I am someone who actually likes to clean so I've been taking on more of the housework during this interlude, yet I also have tried to take some of this unexpected down time to rest and relax like you say at the end.
Apologies for posting this here but I cannot find the correct video. I have recently binged watched a number of your videos. In one of them, you referred to a sleeping mask that you have. Can you please remind me of the make and model and also, the title or date of that particular video?
Thanks for making this video. I’m sharing it with my older kids - I think everyone needs a lot of this great advice, the financial advice and menu planning and chores planning as well as the reality check of what’s important and better ways to spend your time rather than scrolling! Thanks so much!
Hey Liam, thanks for this amazing video. It helped a lot and i realised, that i'm doing a good portion of the recommendations you give us. I tend to be very harsh on my selfe but this showed me, i'm doing well so far. So thank you and have a nice day. See you in your next video.
This video was so much fun. Thank you. Nothing mindblowing but the perspektive on those tasks is so inspiering. Now it feels so much morerealistic to make some more of thosethings happen weekly. Thank you!❤
Great video as always Liam. Excellent life hacks to spend your down time productively. I preferred the original thumbnail you used for this video though. 😉😊👍🏽
As a freshman college student I’m new to the workload and I feel like I have no free time because I’m always studying maybe I’m over studying but when I try to give time to myself I feel stressed and I feel like I’m not resting properly so maybe it’s the screen time I have because I don’t feel like I have time so maybe I’m going to start to get some productive hobbies thanks Liam for the tips.
Honestly I do think it's such a great video. I’m improving my English by watching videos in UA-cam and ways to increase productivity. Thank you very much🙏
Good video, do you have to be under thirty to do a virtual internship ?I'm middle aged but I enjoy learning it's something I discovered through having a mentor at work . I enjoy listening to podcasts I usually listen to them on 40 minute train commute to and from the office
Really interesting video. I’m not on that numbers of screen time but for sure a bit addicted to scrolling. Truth is, I have two daughters that are helping me keeping that number low! 😅
Try having a child with special needs. Free time is zero. You just survive. That is what life in the UK is now for anyone on the margins - survival. I have a very good executive job, I earn a very good salary - but life is just survival
Hey Liam, loved the video as always! Do you have any tips for memorising law cases? (I’ve just started A-level law and there are so many!) I really love your videos and everything you do, please never stop making videos because they’re the best!!!
Good netflix show is it boring no Yes maybe if i rewatch this than i would know Yt is fun and interesting i can spend 60 hours for it if i use another 40 to improve my wellbeing like meet work etc is it not about social media note organizers meditation is just about How to use credit on time
The content outlines various activities that can be done in one's free time to enhance happiness, fulfillment, and stress reduction. The author, a corporate lawyer with a busy schedule, emphasizes the importance of efficiently utilizing free time, such as 60 hours a week, for personal development and well-being. The 13 suggested activities include maintaining contact with friends and family, engaging in physical activities like walking while listening to audiobooks, organizing social events, learning new languages, managing digital clutter, planning meals, doing chores, reviewing finances, remembering birthdays, staying informed, freelancing, taking online courses, and relaxing with TV shows. These activities are designed to balance productivity with relaxation and personal growth.

The irony of a guy working for a soulless, vacuous corporate law firm who would replace you within a week if you died saying "Why your life is so boring" genuinely made me laugh out loud.
Scrolling is the biggest drainer of energy. We need to all get better at cutting down screen time and swap with real time things.
as much as these are amazing tips. We need time to do nothing, just to think and process
So true. Not great to have such videos that make people feel bad about doing nothing.
