Honestly, it's disgusting. Take a look at the prices in Massachusetts. My town is a basic suburb and it's over $2,000 for a two bedroom

    Keep looking!
    1. Don’t compromise on location.
    2. Stick to your budget
I know you like that minimalist modern look, but they don’t make them like they used to. Those newer buildings are typically not well made and you not only have to worry about road noise, but neighbor noise.
    Good luck!

The 2nd one in Hollywood is my vote. Good luck finding one that marks all of your must haves on your budget. Can't wait until you log your decision.

Don’t sacrifice the neighborhood for the price, I can say that you should keep looking, but I’m not sure if you are in a hurry. Check more places in neighborhoods that you would feel safe. I speak from experience, the last place I rent I ended up paying a little bit more of what I was anticipated, but it was 100% worth it, because like you I take like 2 walks a day and I like to go groceries in a walking distance. It’s just my advice as someone that spends more of my time in my place and likes to go around my neighborhood. Hope it helps and good luck! Hope you find an awesome place you can call home! ❤

There are some unbelievably beautiful older homes in La. If you could get a studio and an old bungalow or in a garage or something like that that would be ideal. Absolutely beautiful. I wish you the best of luck

With enough elbow grease you can get a lot of that semen out of the carpets! Don’t let your deposit slip away! You can use that money for new stuff for your new place!

Ugh apartment hunting in LA is *the* worst! I love the last place. Having in unit laundry is life changing, although Lankershim Blvd (I believe that's the street) is super noisy. I know you love that area, but if you go further East, you can get more for your money. I'm now in Highland Park and it's super cute. You should consider it, we can be neighbors :)

I loove studio 4!!! It has so much natural light which is perfect for filming. The outside sound of the cars will also eventually just remind you of the tides of the ocean lol i live on the top floor near a busy street and the sound shockingly can be soothing. Excited to see what u choose. #6 is also GREAT but yea Hollywood~

HA I was thinking "if you get furniture then the echo will be fine...." but then I realized - I trust you with the audio thing - you are the expert! There is a reason voice actors work in small spaces with insulated walls. This was super fun to watch! Thank you for taking us with you! I wish you the very best finding your next space!

The prices are so high, just for a small place. It's like you need a six figure salary just to live middle class these days. I had a roommate for a while but then you give up privacy and have to deal with their crazy behavior, not paying the bills, etc. No wonder so many people are moving out of state. Hope you find a good place to call home!

I lived in the 750 sq ft Mayan unit at Lofts at NoHo Commons for over 10 years. Once you move your belongings in, there is no echo. However, if your unit faces the alley where 24 Hour Fitness is located, be prepared for a lot of noise. Early morning food deliveries for the restaurants on Lankershim are loud, with trucks slamming doors and dragging crates at dawn. At night, there’s additional noise from the bar patrons and transients coming from the Metro station. The building has a high turnover rate, with most residents staying only a year or two.
The washer/dryer, dishwasher, and stove have been there since the building was constructed in the late 2000’s and fairly outdated and cheap! The gym looks nice, but the equipment is old and often malfunctions. If you are looking for something quieter and more modern, I’d recommend finding a newer apartment building with fewer than 40 units on a residential street in the area.

Definitely check out more places in the Valley or around LA, cuz NOHO is TRIPPIN with those prices for those sizes. I had a 2 bdr in NOHO and it was only $1400 and 900 sqft. This was 10 years ago but DAMN have the prices jumped. Almost 3K for something less than 700sqft should be criminal.

Beggars can’t be choosers so either you have to raise your budget or compromise on your list, or consider moving further into the valley and further away from LA

I’m late replying because I was really thinking about this. I think you should go with a place that is safest. Your walks are important! I lived on the Oregon coast for seven years and walking on the beach, sometimes in the worst weather, was almost like therapy to me. Even tho I grew up on the California coast,I didn’t like my move to Oregon. It was very hard to adjust to. I lived in Colorado Springs before that and I loved it there. I actually moved back to CS after a year of living in Oregon. But my boyfriend wanted to give Oregon a second try and I did a lot better this time. Now I live in Seattle..🙄I still walk but it’s definitely the worst state I’ve lived in. I’m either going to go back to Oregon or Colorado! Having a large space is nice but you will be buying your house in the Hollywood Hills in a few years,so just do a small, safe place for now!😘😁

Why do you not have a Patreon started. It could be the answer to your getting an apartment in Hollywood where you prefer. In America, buying power is crucial.
But the one thing I hear about living in Hollywood is people are always moving at the end of a lease. And I assume that is because the rent significantly increases, forcing one to find cheaper rents. I might be wrong, but there must be a good reason for this. Look into that.
I know moving again and again is not what you want. We all want stability and I feel you deserve this after your past experiences. So ask some of your friends about that "phenomenon". Why is it that happens so frequently. I'm cheering for you Vitaly.

Hi Vitaly, the word you were looking for was a Guarantor or Co-signer on your lease.
I would pick the Second Loft Apartment or the last one. That last one was really nice with the Brick Wall and if it is not too far from your current apartment you could just go there for your walks.
You will probably have to sacrifice something so you just have to decide what is most important.

❤hi ❤from Miami ❤a lot of the types of buildings like that accept previous eviction with no grantor just be honest with them even before you view so you don’t get your heart set on a unit that wants crazy deposits ❤I like the brick walls on the last apartment very nyc meets lady Gaga American horror story lolz❤but you have to love the area for sure, fingers crossed on your search and just a hint…contact local broker who advertising apartments for rent and ask them how long they have been doing apartment rentals if they say like 10 years than chances are they work with local landlords some might look past previous eviction and also might have off market rental not advertised that might be perfect for you ❤just pick your favorite neighborhood than go to apps like Zillow and than apartment for rent ❤there you will find your broker who will know where to take you

From my experience living on my own in North Carolina and living in a college apartment, stay where you're at! Because if the economy gets bad, which it will, you are going to be evicted with bad credit. I'm lucky to be temporarily living with my family until I can afford my own place again, but most people in my age group are struggling and two seconds from being on the street.
