I can’t remember where I heard it, but someone once said “don’t drink when you’re sad, only drink to celebrate” and I think it’s great. Don’t let alcohol be your “comfort”, it will end up being all you think you have until you really don’t have anything or anyone else
I seriously don't like it when parents want their child to fulfill their dream instead of wanting to know what actually their child's dream. Like you are the one who didn't fulfill your dream, then whats the need to drag your child. This is so frustrating
First : her daughter is so brave and beautiful Second : I am heart broken for that lovely daughter this is very sad alcohol (alcoholism) is disease that make you too selfish to see the havoc you make created and that mother should rethink her behavior very well before is too late
Lol not jail but they would be forced to go to family counseling and she herself would have to take anger management classes. This only way she can go to jail is if she tries to kill her kid the most beating the shit out of her daughter can accomplish is the stuff mentioned above her children getting taken away by protective services.
It happened a lot in Asian family. Some parents wouldn’t choose to listen to their children and start choosing everything by themselves because they think they’re parents so they have the right to control their kids’ lives.
Being a cop is not easy... Be it any country, it's not like the physical and academic conditions are necessary... One should also be focused... Losing focus over the fact that this is not what you want to do with your life can make her a bad cop.... Thus making her embarrassed about herself.... She's 18...let her do what she wants to do
Before i go to college, I'm always ask my mom "what she make tomorrow?" "what for today dinner?" sometimes i ask my mom to make me specific food for tomorrow but my mom never mad at me,, instead she glad i ask because then she certain that i enjoy the food she made Sorry for my bad English
That's really nice, but do you cook for your family/yourself too? Just wondering. It seems normal to me since I am in college. Can't be too dependant at this point.
@@amikyuu2261 of course i am,, i cook for the family everytime my mom sick or busy with work, i began cook since elementary school,, and now i cook for myself since im in college too
I soo can relate to her, my parents forced me into medical field and when i refused to get into medicine dad signed me up for Pharmacy and here I'm a graduate pharmacist who hates her job but i feel relief when i can help someone who is sick yet i have regret cuz it's not my dream (it's still hard when ic someone enjoys his work to the fullest while i can't enjoy it 100% it's not like i envy them but i wondered how it would like to have the feeling of freedom of the dream job)
I feel so sorry that it happened to you. Haven your freedom of choice taken away is one of the worst things ever. I do hope that know that you do earn money you'll be able to find as do something that brings you joy, even only as a hobby.
You're not alone..me too..i'm a pharmacist too now..it's not my dream job but i'm still trying to enjoy this field..😂i know i can't quit from this field but let's just enjoy it..
I really hope they are happy now. The mother seems to really care for her children. She was alcoholic but she managed to quit because she loved her daughter so much and didn't want her to leave. Alcohol is addicting and can be very hard to quit so it shows that the mother made a huge effort to better herself. Also, she eventually decided to support her daughter's dreams. The mom really does care for her kids.
Hes not tone deaf hes just shy/nervous and lacks training,,,, he should definitely ask to get lessons Also that girl is so sweet, i wish her mother would let her discover for herself.
I see myself in this girl. It really hit me when she said that she felt so brainwashed that she didn't know what she wanted in life. And then when she said that she couldn't go to her mom because she gets angry over nothing...waow... I feel the exact way. It was already a bad sign that the girl's parents forced her to be something she's doesn't want to be, but the daughter doesn't trust her parents since she's afraid. She's been disapproved for almost everything, she's lost total direction. My heart goes out to her.
I don’t think I can understand to her extent but I can sympathize with her on being forced into something she doesn’t want. My dad made me become a competitive swimmer because it’s what he did. I started to like it until he kept telling me I wasn’t good enough yet. He’s been saying it for years now. Even though I’m faster than he was. I also developed trust issues and emotional-trauma based anxiety because he emotionally abused me often and still does. It hurts when you have parents like this. And I really do hope they are better to both of their children.
The son is funny & sweet, I think the daughter protected him from the controling alcoholic mother & has sacrificed some of her happiness. The daughter deserves to do what job she wants & needs to go to college & be independent but I think she will still worry about her younger brother. I hope they both go on to do what they want, have fun & be happy.
The unfortunate truth is that corporal punishment is still pretty common in Korea. My mom and this mother's generation thinks that beating a child is good parenting. Of course it's starting to change but most koreans tend to let older generations off the hook because 'that's how it was'.
I hope the brother actually becomes a comedian!!!! Or an entertainer. He is pure gold!! And I'm happy that the entertainers/ comedians saw that themselves and said if :'). I hope the son doesn't lose hope and do what he wants to do if he wants to sing then get vocal/singing lessons if he wishes to sing hope he improves. Even if he has lisp he shouldn't put himself down. Suga from BTS has lisp and he is now one of the most respected rapper/producer in Kpop!! If he decides to become a comedian I will support that!
I hope he does what he likes and wants. Same goes for the sister, I hope she opens up more about her dreams and not care what her parents thinks. Because if you stay quiet you are only hurting yourself more, you wont know what your parents will say unless you tell them or convince them. It's better to say something than to stay quiet before it's too much. Its your future at the end of the day, you will be the one working in that profession not them! This is what I did I just didnt care and doing the degree I want to do and going into the profession I like and want to go into because I will be the one working on that job not them
Despite how the things are I still applaud the father for listening to his daughter when she said she wanted to move out and leave the abusive mother behind.
My parents keep trying to force me to go into the medical field even though I don't want to. :/ I feel this on a spiritual level- she's the same age as me and her mom is forcing her own wishes onto her. I hope she doesn't give up. ♡
this is why I think it's so toxic to have the mind set that your children are your legacy. Your children are people that will live their lives, just like the rest of the world and the people around you. Don't treat them like a vessel for your memory.
The son is too adorable! I think he has a future in the entertainment industry maybe not singing tho lol. He was very endearing and captivating I could listen to the son tell stories all day.
When I was very young my mom asked me what instrument I wanted to learn (my parents find musical education quite important and said we needed to learn an instrument) My brother chose guitar, my other brother chose piano. So those are 2 of the instruments my parents played. If I didn't know what insturment I wanted to do my mom would've let me playthe flute, she wanted me to play the flute actually since my mom had to quit because she didn't have time for it anymore. But wen she asked me I said I wanted to play violin, an instrument no one in my family plays, my mom never said anything of it and just let me play violin. Until last year I didn't even know she wanted me to play flute. I think that's the right way to handle this. My parents never forced us to be good, they told us to practice and do our best, but they never got mad when there were people who were better. My oldest brother even quit piano and although my parents kinda found it sad they did let him quit without a problem. So even if I didn't know what I wanted to play at the time and my mom would've let me play violin, it would've been fine. I mean, it's not as if they want me to be good at it, they want me to at least learn music culture. I can still change my instrument if I wanted to. When you have a dream that you couldn't achieve and have children, don't tell them to do it. I mean, you can tell them to do it but if you make them do it... Don't expect them to be good or practice a lot. I think that's the only thing that needs to be said.
I just want to say this the sister and brother have such beautiful eyes, such bright eyes their eyes are filled with the strong will to live sparkle sparkle🤩🤩✴ the sister is also both beautiful and charming and the boy is cute I don't know about handsome cause he is more on the cute side but as he grows his handsomeness could come out more he's also funny and very bright so is his sister I hope that they can communicate more and become closer friends cause they don't look very close, help each other out yeah so uhm I'mma go now forgive the way I wrote, today isn't a very good day but I hope yours is😇🙋♀️🙋♀️👋👋
I can kinda relate except for the whole abusive part (my parents dont drink). My mom had always planned for me to be a nurse and when I’d tell her my dreams and goals she’d tell me it wasn’t stable enough (i wanted to be a highschool teacher/ examiner) and would say that nursing was much more superior in different ways. It got to the point where i never wanted to be alone in the car with her because that’s all she’d talk about, until one day my frustrations had reached its climax and i cried telling her that she was stopping me from becoming what i really want and that she’s basically pushing me to be like her (she’s a highly ranked nurse). After that, she stopped pestering me and now supports me, but now the thing is... she’s pushing my little brother to become a nurse 🤷🏻♀️
No. Abuse leaves permanent marks and scars. This show did not even address all the physical and emotional abuse those two kids went through. Did not ask the mom to apologize for her behavior. Did not let her know how damaging her actions were and still are to her kids. Nothing about this particular episode addressed the pain that abuse leaves on victims.

the show isn't for solving problems or anything thats why the host are all comedians they just have guest talk about their concerns and have a discussion and try to make it as light hearted as possible most of the guests exaggerate their problems anyway so they can win the prize money
promising lights but its still a scripted variety show i honestly don't believe an abusive parent/spouse etc would voluntarily appear in the show its prolly a fake concern their goal is to win the prize ( or for clout like that kid that said he wanted to become a singer) they're not here to solve the problem (if there's actually a problem)
The son is the chillest one in the family. Everyone in it is tired and defeated by life and need to go to some sort of professional. I feel for all of them no matter how much I think the mom is the wrong I also feel bad for her.
I'm telling u!!!! now that the parents have stopped i'm gonna start... The daughter could be a really good fashion designer/baker/modeler or business woman. The son could be a comedian/guitarist (bass yes bass)/kindergarten teacher/actor/singer (he can sing, but i think he woukd be able to sing better now as of 2023, his probably in the end of his teen or already an adult, so i'm guessing his voice is deeper. I seriously don't like it when parents want their child to fulfill their dream instead of wanting to know what actually their child's dream. Like you are the one who didn't fulfill your dream, then whats the need to drag your child. This is so frustrating
First : her daughter is so brave and beautiful
Second : I am heart broken for that lovely daughter this is very sad alcohol (alcoholism) is disease that make you too selfish to see the havoc you make created and that mother should rethink her behavior very well before is too late
"A criminal could beat me to death"
Just lemme say that his brother's smile is so cUTE
If they were in America she would go to jail
Lol not jail but they would be forced to go to family counseling and she herself would have to take anger management classes. This only way she can go to jail is if she tries to kill her kid the most beating the shit out of her daughter can accomplish is the stuff mentioned above her children getting taken away by protective services.
Plenty of parents in America coming home drunk and beating on their kids and not going to jail.
It happened a lot in Asian family. Some parents wouldn’t choose to listen to their children and start choosing everything by themselves because they think they’re parents so they have the right to control their kids’ lives.
in germany they would took her Children !
i still feel sorry for the mom
life isnt Easy sometimes !
Yep..in Europe an abusive mother is going to have her kids taken from her.
Being a cop is not easy... Be it any country, it's not like the physical and academic conditions are necessary... One should also be focused... Losing focus over the fact that this is not what you want to do with your life can make her a bad cop.... Thus making her embarrassed about herself.... She's 18...let her do what she wants to do
It's a life threatening career too!
The son is so outgoing lmao cute!
Before i go to college, I'm always ask my mom "what she make tomorrow?" "what for today dinner?" sometimes i ask my mom to make me specific food for tomorrow but my mom never mad at me,, instead she glad i ask because then she certain that i enjoy the food she made
Sorry for my bad English
That so nice of your mom:))
That's really nice, but do you cook for your family/yourself too? Just wondering. It seems normal to me since I am in college. Can't be too dependant at this point.
@@retro-rose1194 thanks
@@musicmakesone4846 thank you dear , I'm actually working as pharmacist and try to save to get into other studying for my dream job 🙂
@@raghadalashoor6650 what is your dream job?
You're not alone..me too..i'm a pharmacist too now..it's not my dream job but i'm still trying to enjoy this field..😂i know i can't quit from this field but let's just enjoy it..
@@fitriwulansari5808 same thing here , let's try
I really hope they are happy now. The mother seems to really care for her children. She was alcoholic but she managed to quit because she loved her daughter so much and didn't want her to leave. Alcohol is addicting and can be very hard to quit so it shows that the mother made a huge effort to better herself. Also, she eventually decided to support her daughter's dreams. The mom really does care for her kids.
Hes not tone deaf hes just shy/nervous and lacks training,,,, he should definitely ask to get lessons
Also that girl is so sweet, i wish her mother would let her discover for herself.
The boy kinda looks like the drummer from N flying (a boy kpop group)
Yes, I.N!! Especially when he smile..xD
I hope they both go on to do what they want, have fun & be happy.
edit* I’m glad the mom came around :) it must have been hard for her to not be able to achieve her dream and I hope she keeps her promise ❤️
ok but why didn’t they address the fact that she beats him/ them ?
Because Korea
Because they will focus on what they sent the concern . That's why she come there for
i think that was in the past and they’re focusing on the problem at hand, they probably didn’t expect something like that to come up lol
The unfortunate truth is that corporal punishment is still pretty common in Korea. My mom and this mother's generation thinks that beating a child is good parenting. Of course it's starting to change but most koreans tend to let older generations off the hook because 'that's how it was'.
son, suga from bts has a lisp but he's a well respected rapper in the industry. don't let your mother or your lisp stop your dream.
now i want to see the brother in a kpop group or something
I have a mother like her, she treats me like how the mom is to Jieun, this girl is lucky her mom is willing to change
the son looks like IN from straykids and i cant stop thinking about that
Tbh the son was the star of the show, if he doesn’t become someone important I will be disappointed
If my parents ever do this to me, they'll not going to see me again. I will walk out from their house and survive alone.
Nobody:
Her dad: cool uniform
The son reminds me of I.n from stray kids😂👏 he is so cute
ok but JEONGIN IS THAT YOU and he even does that nose srunch that I.N always do AWWW
i like how the children is more mature than the parents...
Oof 10 mins into the vid and I'm starting to think this mother gave birth only so that her child could fulfill her dream of being a cop.
he said he had to miss the audition cause he was getting circumcised i can’t bREATHE🗿
her brother was so cute lol 😂😂
The subtitles are SAVAGE😂😂 “he tries to sing” ommgggggg
My parents keep trying to force me to go into the medical field even though I don't want to. :/ I feel this on a spiritual level- she's the same age as me and her mom is forcing her own wishes onto her. I hope she doesn't give up. ♡
Okay but she looks so beautiful when she smiles
This show audience are the one who enjoy being sad shedding tears
the son is hilarious and would make a great comedian!
this is why I think it's so toxic to have the mind set that your children are your legacy. Your children are people that will live their lives, just like the rest of the world and the people around you. Don't treat them like a vessel for your memory.
the brother is so cute, and i think that if he trains, he can get a better voice. also, he has a really charming smile, must protect
ขอบคุณสำหรับซับไทยค่า ติดตามตลอด 🥰
Excuse me boy, there's a rapper in Imfact with a lisp! His name is Ungjae and he's a brilliant rapper!
The son is too adorable! I think he has a future in the entertainment industry maybe not singing tho lol. He was very endearing and captivating I could listen to the son tell stories all day.
Holy shit she's a fifth degree black belt. Her beating them up when wasted really is no joke. She probably did some serious damage
Ugh just like my mom. Hope this girl get to live her life.
The boy is so cute.
He somewhat looks like bang chan in some angles💓😂
or it's just me seeing that LOOOOL
Idk why but her little brother gives me Jeongin from Stray Kids vibe tho. Especially during his pre-debut lol😂
the girl is so pretty !!!!!
Suddenly, remember sky castle 😢
I just want to say this
the sister and brother have such beautiful eyes, such bright eyes their eyes are filled with the strong will to live
sparkle sparkle🤩🤩✴ the sister is also both beautiful and charming and the boy is cute I don't know about handsome cause he is more on the cute side but as he grows his handsomeness could come out more he's also funny and very bright so is his sister
I hope that they can communicate more and become closer friends cause they don't look very close, help each other out
yeah so uhm I'mma go now forgive the way I wrote, today isn't a very good day but I hope yours is😇🙋♀️🙋♀️👋👋
What selfish parents! Drunk, abusive, obnoxious and super selfish. I would leave as soon as I could and live alone.
THE👏DAUGHTER👏IS👏SO👏HECKING👏GORGEOUS
THE SON IS PRECIOUS AND SO IS JIEUN OMG I WANNA PROTECC
BRO THIS BOY IS HELLA FUNNY PLEASE HOW U GONNA ANNOUNCE THAT YOUR FRIEND HAD TO GET CIRCUMCISED ON TVVVV???? HIS POKER FACE MAKES IT EVEN FUNNIER GOD
The son is absolutely hilarious but brutally honest
Dude really said his friend got circumcised...im dead 😂😂😂
Im sorry but the brother’s skin is just so flawless
In fact your child is not your child. They are a person with their own self and life.
Cute siblings,i like their smile!
i feel like this show belittles some serious issues...
the show isn't for solving problems or anything thats why the host are all comedians they just have guest talk about their concerns and have a discussion and try to make it as light hearted as possible most of the guests exaggerate their problems anyway so they can win the prize money
@@yn209 but the issues they talk about in this show are really serious and not something they should joke about
promising lights but its still a scripted variety show i honestly don't believe an abusive parent/spouse etc would voluntarily appear in the show its prolly a fake concern their goal is to win the prize ( or for clout like that kid that said he wanted to become a singer) they're not here to solve the problem (if there's actually a problem)
@@slights9244 people make jokes about everything lol. You can't stop the media
@@isaac2109 for sure but abuse is a bit too far
The son is the chillest one in the family. Everyone in it is tired and defeated by life and need to go to some sort of professional. I feel for all of them no matter how much I think the mom is the wrong I also feel bad for her.
I was not expecting him to dance to DOPE ;)
I'm telling u!!!! now that the parents have stopped i'm gonna start... The daughter could be a really good fashion designer/baker/modeler or business woman. The son could be a comedian/guitarist (bass yes bass)/kindergarten teacher/actor/singer (he can sing, but i think he woukd be able to sing better now as of 2023, his probably in the end of his teen or already an adult, so i'm guessing his voice is deeper. Soo) and most importantly he can be my boyfriend😮
The son is funny, handsome, and cute and her sister is pretty and cute, i feel sad because i can really relate to them.
