50 Cent explains how Gillie Da Kid missed out on a deal from interscope records 🤔

  • Gillie The Kid missed out on a deal from Interscope Records. For those of you who don’t know, Interscope Records is a record label started by Jimmy Iovine and Ted Field in 1989.
Gillie wanted to sign a deal with Interscope for his debut album, but he ended up never signing anything with them. He was close to signing the deal, but he decided to handle things in a different way.
unfortunately, things didn’t end up working out for him in the long run. The risk he took when deciding not to sign with Interscope ended up costing him. Without a label supporting him, the music industry moved on and his career didn’t take off.
The truth is, signing with a major label isn’t a guarantee of success, but sometimes it can give you more of an edge than trying to make it alone. That was the case with Gillie The Kid and while it’s unfortunate that he didn’t get the deal, he’s still one of the favorite rappers and an example of someone who worked extremely hard for what they wanted.

Terrible, there are plenty of stories of ppl who missed the opportunity, who still have their children and family, making it just fine. The industry is not the only source of money. All these ppl who would do anything to become a star are just like crackheads looking for that next hit, and if they don’t clean up, they will lose their life or depending on how bad it was, may lose their lives later on due to complications from that addiction that left residual effects. Look at these celebrities who just suddenly die even after being out of the industry, they have to pay the piper. No one should be out trying to be any entertainer.

At the time Gillie was a fool for that because that "loan" gave you access to Dre,Eminem and 50 Cent together with Jimmy Ivine and Interscope.
