Good video with clear directions accompanied by concise explanation. As you said, the proof is in the pudding. You have grown beautiful blueberry plants. I'm growing three varieties in pots (not as large as yours) down here in south Florida; the lowest chill varieties I could find. 2nd - 3rd year now. I can't find acidic mix here, so I top dress with acidifier/sulfur and fertilize with acid loving plants' fertilizer. We had 0 chill hours this year and my bushes didn't drop their leaves. They bloomed and set fruit but I'm trying manual defoliation, thinking it may boost the bloom. I tried several of the cheap pH meters but found better success reading the leaves of my fruit trees for signs of pH issues. Keep up the good work!

Thank You for your e-mail, it was very well written. I'll give you a tip I'm working on. Still not tested but I trying to make the soil hold the acidic 4.5-5.5 longer for the blueberries. I'm looking into what's in the wild nature, how mother nature's has been doing it for century. Thanks again for being part of the Blue Garden!

I agree with him on the bottom layer… On my big pots, I used leaves from the yard and some other cheap potting soil to fill the bottom Eight or 10 inches… As you certify the top layers that will drift into the bottom layers and the main roots are in the first 4 inches anyway no sense in spending lots of money for the bottom 8
