7:26 : popo never touches the spring, when they use squall together if one gets hit out of it then the other gets put into free fall. What happened was only nana hit the spring, causing her to jump and popo to fall. I have no idea why the spring stayed like that tho kinda wack
9:10 as a puff main, that was not a accident 100%, you could easily tell that puff wasn’t going to land in time to get drag down dair rest. As puff was nowhere near the ground when down air was used.
As an avid (online) doubles player, yes the character getting pummeled turns into a very big hit box for their partner as well. Strange mechanic. Same thing with certain throw, Banjo back throw will have a very active hitbox and is pretty strong.
The clip at 9:57 is clearly spliced. The sudden drop in resolution is there purely to mask the sudden transition from one clip to another. If you go frame by frame, you can see at the moment of transition Hero suddenly falls a significant distance and is no longer in the middle of his uair animation, the ship in the background of the stage is in a completely different position/rotation, the timer in the upper corner is a half second off where it should be, Palutena's bubble/magnifying glass shifts significantly to the right of where it was previously, the camera angle of the stage as a whole is completely different, the center platform of the stage is suddenly visible by a large margin when it wasn't previously, all the clouds in the skybox are in a completely different configuration, etc. Extremely low quality video is oftentimes used to mask obvious editing artifacts: think "ghost" videos, bigfoot sightings, loch ness monster clips, aliens caught on camera, and all manner of other supernatural/paranormal "evidence". Sometimes this is justified under the pretense of being CCTV surveillance footage or dashcam video or the like, but when there's no discernable reason why the video should be such absurdly low resolution, and ESPECIALLY when there's a sudden transition to low quality like this, the clip's veracity should immediately be thrown into question. And no, you can't blame this on an "encoding error" of some sort where the video "skipped forward"/simply dropped a few frames, resulting in the timer jumping forward and all the other differences I noted: going frame by frame, you can see that before the splice, Palutena's magnifying glass is moving rapidly to the left. However, after the jump cut, her bubble is suddenly very far to the right of where it was previously, which would not be possible if it was the same video and had simply dropped a few frames of encoding: her bubble would have instead traveled further left or at most stayed in the same spot, not jerked to the right. TL;DR 9:57 is a spliced/edited clip, the bomb likely did not blow up in the original. (It had barely even begun flashing red when Hero threw it.)
Semisolid platforms are very jank. If there is a hazard is on a battlefield-like platform and you use a move that passes through the platform, the game only looks if your hitbox collided with the hazard and if you are on the ground, not WHAT ground you’re on. This also applies to moves such as jigglypuff sing or inkling roller. For example, if inkling uses roller on a platform and captain falcon uses up tilt, if Falcon’s foot pokes out and gets hit, Falcon will be buried on the stage.

@@justfire7955 there is a big difference between how hard they are to pull off and how they are looking. Its no wonder that even the Beefies are bored of that. It looks mostly the same. There is also a good reason why I like Smash but not classic 2D fighting games and so dont like all of the fighting game characters in smash. They are boring to play and to look at, at least the ones in Smash. Better variety would have been better
