When I moved to the PNW (Seattle area), I was excited to see how well Fatsia grew here. I now have 6 varieties- as well as F. polycarpa. I have never tried to root cuttings, but I think I will try this

So I took mine back in October. Both cuttings are full of roots. They will be potted up in a couple of weeks 🌱 both look really healthy. Ive topped them up with water weekly. Really simple 😀

The same in New Zealand.. But I do get rid of yellow-dry leaves regulaly. They fall on the ground orand stuck in between bigger brunches. I often away and not regulaly keep it tidy((

I love this plant with those leaves that keep growing all over! This is the first time it doesnt die on me!I got it cheap at Walmart $4 and has grown mighty. I would like to propagate but unsure where to cut. I keep inside. The first year i got it, I put it outside, and it burnt. I have kept it by my window with slight sun. Your video helped, but I wanted to see exactly where you cut it. Oh well!

I’d say mine have been in water for 3-4 weeks and no sign of roots, on a windowsill south facing. No sign of dying off at all, wondering if I keep waiting or whether it’s not gonna work.
