omg i really want to make a sweater after i finish my first project (a scarf). im just starting to crochet, so i really appreciate the slow and well thought out instructions :)
I just made my first. I've only made blankets before and I'm thoroughly cack-handed (er....the blankies started off as dishcloths. The whole counting thing gets a bit confusing once I run out of fingers, so....dishcloth/blankie that covers half of Britain. Tomaytoes tomatoes 🤷) so you can deffo do it. Mine even fits! We
I just started a sweater. Soon as I saw your video I changed my pattern 12 rows in. I really like yours. But I'm making mine open in the front with big buttons. Thanks
I made a sweater a couple years ago, but I used Alpaca yarn which is very itchy. No one wore it. I'm about to try to make some more for Christmas for my grand daughters. I love this pattern. I have lots of yarn, some variegated yarn to mix in. Thank you so much for this video!!!
You are very welcome! If you have any questions feel free to ask. I've got a tutorial on this same style coming soon. It's the red sweater one. I go into more detailed instructions on the next one. I'm sure you'll have fun with any beautiful yarn!!
You have truly inspired me to crochet a sweater 🤗 I’ve only done blankets and simple scarves. I love that you do sc and dc stitches. I think I can really do it! SO thankful I found your channel!
You’re on the right track with this. This is how I knit my sweaters. Funny thing. I noticed the you wiggle your toes while crafting. My late husband brought it to my attention that my toes move the whole time I knit and crochet.🧶 Happy making from Houston 😎
I love this concept and I want to try it. It would help I think if you would put a list of the different stitches you used also. Thanks so much for this great idea.
Ok will do! I have a second one on the way! And I will do the video a little different so more people can understand it better. I will list the stitches as well!
I am currently making a full tutorial on this kind of sweater and making another one, learning from the mistakes I made on this one. It will be coming up soon.
I find it easiest to crochet over the ends as I go along. I find I do such a good job I often can’t find the ends if I need to frog it. If I find my front panels too narrow, I just add a wide border/ribbing (5 inches or so), rather than trying to piece it together. I also crochet my pieces together. There is no shame watching videos by other artists rather than winging it. While this can be a learning process, it can be confusing to newbies. You’re slow pacing and explanations will be great for future videos. Don’t give up, I can’t tell you how many sweaters I frog and start over again because I goofed!

I love the idea of using the ends to sew the pieces together, ensuring a yarn/colour match. Very clever!
Especially in these multicolored ones!
Very nice~ You've inspired me to try and make a sweater for my wife. 😀
Wonderful! I'm so glad. I would love an update later to hear your results!
So cute!!! Came out great! I love the colors too. Can't wait to see the red one your gonna work on. Hope you post it.

Nice, I like the ribbing idea. Thanks.
Using a different smaller yarn could have made the front smaller, smaller yarn or hook size will change the size of whatever is being crocheted.
Thanks for the tip!
Love your colorway. Not a fan of all those ends lol.
Thanks! I loved these colors too. And yes those ends took a few hours to get all in.
Very difficult to understand the drawing
Okay. The next video on a sweater, I will explain it better. Thanks for letting me know.
