Jackie adored Ayub Khan. She said he was very "manly" He reminded her of her father. Plus he gave her a magnificent horse when she visited Pakistan a year later.

@@hashimmalik3407 Most of this information is in Clint Hill’s book, “Mrs. Kennedy and Me”. Mr. Hill was Mrs. Kennedy’s personal Secret Service Agent, and the ONLY Secret Service Agent to respond in Dallas during the President’s assassination.

Golden era of US-Pakistan relations with two great leaders at the helm. JFK understood the importance of Pakistan in Cold War geopolitics.

Ah yes those are much better times seeing two great leaders like John F. Kennedy and Ayub Khan have a good US-Pakistan relationship.

@@whiteclifffl 100% agree. In my opinion...for what it's worth, their 'marriage' was a business deal.
After his (JFK) death there was the Onassis 'marriage'.🤔
Maybe I should have described him as a diplomat instead, for dealing with VP Johnson.🤗

@@philmickey7247 besides the cheating I don’t think their marriage was that bad. He never hit her, she became First Lady and was a good father to their kids. Jfk sounds decent to me besides the cheating.

@@Steph-lc7hy Second term would have been less lives lost in Vietnam.
Then the 'elimination' of his brother to prevent his good possibility of becoming president.
      That's now just 'history'.🇺🇸

For what reason Ayub Khan was given so much importance as he was a selected person by British army. Whether Ayub has conquered what during wars in 2nd World war or what were his achievements at the time of meeting Kennedy he was a agent of West. Just like shahenshah Iran is welcomed in America when he was in power and when he lost the power American are least bothered. Agents are welcomed only when they are in power.

Ayub khan is the only 5 star general in the history of Pakistans army. He revolutionised agriculture and brought the industrial revolution in Pakistan. He was the most powerful man of pakistan at that time

Ayub Khan did some good, although ultimately he is likely awaiting hellfire from his grave as he fought against the Pashtun Rebellion Jihad in Waziristan on the side of the British Colonialists.
Any Pakistani servant of Kaffirs against Muslims AKA all of its founders are to receive a punishment in the afterlife, as our religion promises.
