- During a recent trip to California, I stopped by The Mecca to give you guys an idea of how things are at the current time. Lots of improvements in the place and lots of money invested.

I live on the east coast so it’s nice to get a first hand tour like this of the floor plan layout. It’s a shame Golds and Worlds are virtually non existent today let alone posters on the walls of the greats would probably offend someone

Me and my Dad made to Golds gym this year. It was my Dads dream to go. He made it 42 years later and at 61 is still working out hard. Also thank you Michael O’Hearn for taking time out for his workout to take a few pictures.
Nothing beats the Mecca 💪 every full time bodybuilder should visit at least once and love reading the three muscleteers by Ed 🙏

Do you have any Gold's Gyms in cairo (egypt)? What about Europe? Dubai? Just wondering? Your 2 gyms in Rahat, Israel aren't as nice as this one though! I worked at your gym in the 90's Glad to see you have expanded all the way to Israel.

Was only lucky enough to visit 1991/2 from the UK. This looks nothing like it did back then or from the videos I've seen in its golden times. Sanitised gym .looks like any staid gym chain on the planet. Why was it changed so much. A shadow of its former self.
Best gym in whole world. Better though when pete grmkoski, tim kimber and ed connors owned in 80's and 90s

Am so glad that I was lucky enough to visit and train in golds when it really was golds. It is nothing like that now,it's a shadow of its former self.
It looks like more of a new-age social club with weights rather than a hardcore gym.

I actually traveled from West Virginia to Venice to train here and eat at the Firehouse back in 2018. Even though it wasn’t the 90s Golds it was one of the coolest experiences I’ve had as a bodybuilder.
