I notice my main issue is the 808 patterns. The reason is i grew up playing guitar in death metal bands, and loved extreme drumming so I always have to much bottom end going on witch sounds great to me, but i know most artist wont use it if it sounds to crazy.
Dope man. I actually grew up playing guitar in a deathcore band. I still use my 8 string. It doesn’t carry over directly, but certain grooves still apply. You just have to get used to the constraints of the genre with 808s
@@prodbyxav13r cool! yea focus on the vibe, and not over doing it. I played 7 or 6 in drop tuning. I still can play, but I focus on instrumental, and beats for the past 5 years. I need to rebuy a acoustic electric ovation or taylor for recording samples.

@johnathanbeats I tuned my 6 string Ibanez down to drop A for way too long. Finally got an 8 string and it was magical lol
