Marang Connections | Shine the Light

Marang Connections is a free 12-month program offering workshops to Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Young People aged 8-16 years.
Marang Connections was developed by Bathurst Regional Council with the support of a Resilience NSW Grant.
The January 2023 Workshop saw 18 young people work with a local music producer and local videographer to produce lyrics, a beat and music video.
The song and music video were premiered to the participants, their families, teachers, councillors and stakeholders on Monday 27 March 2023.
Marang Connections is funded under the joint Australian Government - NSW Government Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements 2018.
