When I go on vacation in Ontario, the camp owners throw a dinner every Wednesday evening. They cook moose burgers and make some side dishes. I've never had a juicier burger anywhere, and I live in Iowa where pork is king.
There was no sacrifice of the eyes of e-bun to the smokeshack smoke. He's learning to keep his thumb off the mic, though, that's good. I've never eaten moose but I've heard it is the best of all meat.
E bun looks hungover,, after the caribou video I had to thaw out some elk meat. Slow cooked that with onions n mushrooms n homemade tortillas. Keep the videos coming.
Man u sure do have it good living the life I can only dream of stuck living in the city myself feel like a caged animal sometimes keep the content coming and I will keep watching
Hey Andrew when you go to town to get those goggles get a screen house so you can cut up that moose in comfort away from those pesky flies. Thanks for sharing!
Peace and quiet, tasty moose steaks,a loyal friend,a good hound dog, fine weather, cold beer, clean air,i say life is pretty damn fair mate !! It dont get any better than this.I only carry salt and pepper out there in the wood. It's simple and it goese best with all kinds of wild meat...
That smoke shack has been busy! Lots of good meat there. Should go quick for you guys. Love the 'safety sandals' LOL. I did the same last weekend, dropped a corner of a 4x 8 sheet of plywood on my big toe. Ow! I won't do that again. lol.
Ha ha no bro this smoke meat is priceless! For all the hard work that goes into harvesting a moose and the time it takes 5o process a quarter into smoked moose meat it would be worth $450 a pound!
Helloooo from Az, Andrew, you and Ebun are living high on the Moose ! I've never had it - yet. It sure looks mouth watering ! I'm glad to see you posting more videos. It's a very interesting life that you have and I appreciate that you share your adventures with us. I know it's been a tough year for you and believe me I rather we sympathize for you. Will you been running your trap lines for the 2018, 19, season? We really thoroughly enjoy ALL of the content that you put out. Warmest Regards from Az.
Oh man constipated, just eat more fat! The mountain men and trappers lived off of what they caught. You know all about trapping. You'll be ok! I've seen you eat the marrow, that should fix your downstairs if you eat alot of lean meat!
I flucking hate the city mate ! I cant stand the stench of life in the city.I take to the outdoor as often as i could and just get lost in the wood.I dont think any natural man belong in the city.True happiness lies in the great outdoor among the wood, the fields and the streams.I love people, just not a whole lot of them.....
Hahahahahah. I'd bet you were constipated when u eat that much moose meat in a short period of time. Lol. The dried meat looks really good. Them darn yellow jacks and hornets are bad this year. Take care of your self Andrew and peace out.
Andrew! I watched this with captions on for about 2 minutes and UA-cam has NO IDEA what you are saying! Guess my wife is just going to have to hear about smoking moose meat!
Thank you, Andrew Stanley! My friend Jack showed me your vids and we've been fans ever since. He calls you his favourite indian (we're both natives from BC by the way nearby the bottom of the Alaska panhandle). When we watch your vids with beer we'll take a drink any time ole Charlie Boy comes up or you mention Hound or getting a new dog. We're also in a rock n roll band and are trying to grow our youtube presence. Thanks for all the content, Andrew!
Looks damn tasty Andrew! Have you ever eaten the bone marrow with your moose meat Andrew? You can add some wild blueberries to the marrow and add that to your moose meat...
What other types of wood do you use for smoking meat where you are at??? Down here where I am from we have apple, peach, pear, maple and hickory wood we tend to use.
Ain't much to say,,fucking Right On!! looks good,,no doubt it is.I suppose the only thing I could bring to that party is beer and a loaf of bread.,,, of course if I was invited. oh yeah,,and some butter.
There is something about this life that money can't buy.

Matthew Hoag I have never eaten moose Matthew. Thx for the comment!
It has a texture and flavor all its own. Venison, elk, bison, and beef are all distinct from it. Give it a try if you ever get the chance.
Matthew Hoag will do! 😋

Here's a suggestion, get some sprayable olive oil or cooking oil and coat the mesh wire before you put the meat on it, makes flipping much easier.
