Had mine the last few months. Yes table 3 gives you 25.610 to 30.100. I’m getting S3 of noise with my external antenna, do you ? Mid band is mostly AM from the USA or FM from Europe Russia etc though Ch 37 to 39 always LSB or USB. Totally dead here apart from a SSB Net on Thursdays
If I stand away from the house it's ok just need a near contact did you find that the Menu only has Vox , Display and Power settings ?

What's the frequency range of the thunderpole?
I think the QYT CB-58 is a better handheld CB radio. The battery is much higher capacity, the display has better useful information, the SWR meter is just handy to check antenna matching. I used a car magnetic mount antenna to do some testing and had very good range. For some reasons CB handheld radio tends to be very battery power hungry the 4100mAh battery on the QYT will run the radio all day and more.
Yes agree is a real truckers CB Hanheld looks great .
You can use a Baofeng programming cable with this radio, and PNI software to change some settings. The software is meant for the pni escort hp82, but it's virtually the same radio, and same as the jopix variant as well.
I prefer the Thunderpole TX, the signal display is better.

i bought 6 President Randys . All of the antennas fell apart . I purchased aftermarket HYS antennas plus BNC to TNT adapters so we could continue to use the radios. Where can I buy these radios ? I want the European version because they still use USA frequencies. Im here in New York City

Find a handheld CB that will work in the US and does sideband. That’s what I’m looking for. No luck.

Andreas, I just bought directly from England the Adventure kit with this radio and a mag mount full size orbiter. Friend, I hope this radio works just as well in the States. I just had to have it, and I hear its modulation is superior to the Randy.
