Is it possible to guess The Twins from something other than footsteps in the no equipment mode? I did 2 hunts on the same Twins and they both sounded the same
Twin-interactions, two interactions at pretty much at the exact same time Otherwise The Twins would almost certainly require at minimum two hunts to figure out as one Twin will be faster than the other@@Crakatus
They can sadly hunt twice in a row I had a contract on stream the other day, where it was the fast twin 5-6 times in a row and I just could not figure it out@@Crakatus

Your videos have improved my phasmo game more than any other creators' vids. The section at the end that you've put in as a test really helps as well. These are so much easier to use to train your observation than actually running Camp Woodwind, because you never get blasted with 5-10 hunts in a row where there aren't any identifiable traits
Game Results: -> Ghost 1: Guessed Thaye (Correct) - It was very fast and it didn't speed up as it saw you. It also started walking towards you for a brief moment after the 5 seconds smudge finished, so it isn't a Moroi because the smudge lasts 7.5 seconds on it. -> Ghost 2: Guessed Poltergeist (Correct) - It was normal speed, had normal blinks and I noticed the very powerful throws and that it was throwing 2 items per second consistently, where normal ghosts have a chance to throw an item of 50% every 0.5 seconds, so 1 or 2 per second. -> Ghost 3: Guessed Deogen (Correct) - It was very fast, went straight to you and then it slowed down. It was not speeding up with line of sight (people think only Thaye and Hantu cannot speed up with line of sight, but Raiju in his power and Deogen cannot speed up either; Pretty sure Revenant can't do that either. Out of the very fast ghosts, only Moroi can speed up with LOS because its speed scales with sanity instead of being an on-off switch). It was also very visible in hunts, but was blinking more often than other ghosts, including Oni (this is something not many people know). -> Ghost 4: Guessed Phantom (Correct) - It was invisible most of the time. -> Ghost 5: Polti again (Correct) - Same reasoning. -> Ghost 6: Guessed Oni (Correct) - It was almost always visible. Outcome: 6/6. To be honest, I think you should do a video where you show the ability of each ghost and then do a test with 100 ghosts. Some present multiple times. It would be hard work, but would be fun. For players that get ghosts wrong in-game but well in videos, the issue is that in videos you don't bother thinking of how to move to avoid being killed. Your focus is 100% of the ghost, instead of being divided into looping 50% and ghost analysis 50%. You may also need more hunts in case its something subtle that you didn't notice. For example I only check for salt AFTER the hunt because that is 1 less thing to worry about. Start practising with 0 sanity and 0 evidence on other maps, like Tanglewood. Do all the tests needed (Maggstor has a great guide on tests and abilities) and take your time. After enough practice, you will be able to guess the ghost in 1 hunt.

Phantoms are scary to loop when smudge timer is over and hunt is not yet they are mostly invisible and you dont know where it goes around table sometimes
I'd love to do more, though the videos would be much the same Just about half the ghosts can be identified using this method, which is why so many of them are repeated One thing I'm looking into is, showcasing hidden abilities and ghost traits, I just haven't had the time to really sit down and grind it out yet
Omg I LOVED the guess the those segment!! I keep getting poltie wrong because I feel like I just ignore the throwing because I focus too much on speed and blinking xD
I respect video like these but I would like to make a certain correction about Thayes: All Phasmo ghosts start at a random age number ranging from 1 to 80 (I think), but what I'm sure is that Thayes can start as old as 60 but still run as fast as expected. Only way to know if it has aged is either asking through the Ouija board or just by listening for it to slow down
5/6, got the second poltergeist wrong lol, it's hard to pay attention to a polter throw when you're not actively looking at it, i was mostly looking at his blinking speed didnt even see him throwing all the stuff😅

I haven't looked too much into the van emf, but I believe if it jumps in increments of 3-5, it could be EMF5, but isn't a guarantee The brightness was achieved with the in-game settings, though the newly added eye adaptation may not have the same result Reaching all T3 items varies on how you play and how long you play for Normal contracts could probably take a couple days, whereas stuff like successful x12 difficulties would probably be possible in 2-3 hours Thank you again for enjoying the videos and for the comment! I was able to get all the ghosts right besides the oni on the last part, I struggled with phantom and oni equally as I tend to focus on other stuff first haha
4/6 but the 4 first ghosts were rather ez to get right xD we need some new ghosts tho, mimik, twins, an otherd (unless u cant easily find those out ofc), or demon and stuff nice series tho man !
heyyy i got 5/6, not bad. i messed up on the oni cus when i was looking at the blinks it was kinda near then end, before you smudged it. it just looked normal there

Mare has no hunting traits If you play with the breaker on, you may catch it flipping a light switch off immediately after you've flipped that same switch on
Here are my results. Ghost 1: Thaye because it didn't change its speed even within LOS. Ghost 2: Poltegiest, lots of powerful throws, YEET! Ghost 3: Deogen, my favourite ghost in the game, is very slow when up close, and knows where you are at all times. Ghost 4: Phantom, rarely shows itself between blinks. Ghost 5: Another Poltergeist, more powerful throw, more yeets. Ghost 6: It's an oni, it was kind of hard to tell at first, but then I recall you mentioning how they like to appear more than any other ghosts, basically the opposite of a phantom. Wow, 6/6, that was fun, cheers for the game.
Recently started No evidence runs. I can get the ghost type accurately however my looping and smudging abilities are somewhat bad. Could you do a video on this?
Banshee is the only ghost that roams, if its target is nearby Knowing it was at the benches, then kills me on the other side of the map, is a clear tell
A contract in which the ghost is a Banshee Reason I worded it the way I did was because the ghost didn't exactly give away any evidence, so I wanted people to know beforehand

It is truly incredible how I am able to guess pretty much every ghost in your videos but once I am playing myself I have every single one wrong xD

The Thaye can start at any age, yes
Say it does start at 60, then that's its 0, and + 10 is then 70
Speed is tied to its age

Yes! The photo will still be labeled as Ghost Photo, but there will be no ghost in the picture

Neither the Jinn or Mare have any special interactions/abilities while the breaker is off, sadly

1st one i actually thought it was a mimic cause he was at normal speed then became that slow
