Firstly, the "song" was originally "Jalebi Bhai" in 2010 in the ethnic dialect (was it Punjabi? or Hindi?). Tesher sampled the song, gave it Punjabi and English lyrics and remixed it last year with other Justin Bieber samples. Jason remixed it again and supported it getting more English. At least, could the original samples be credited?

Drake Nice for what ) it might pass to call it your own song (even Drake still credits the Lauren Hill sample). Literally did not even change the name and intent of the song and still called the new song his own. Why because his dad is from the motherland and therefore it's ok to steal from your own people? Like its disrespectful.
Jason did not 'discover' this song for the world. This type of reporting happened as Spanish language songs started becoming popular in the US. I wish reporters understood that the POC artists a force and have HUGE followings (sometimes they're a lot bigger than the US artists they collab with). The issue is that the industry is so closed off to foreign languages and artists that it takes so much for talented innovative artists to breakthrough. The US is missing out on so many mind-blowing songs... I'm so thankful I know of Tesher now and will be exploring more of his music.
