He is actually looking at it as a lawyer he stated it Kung paano tumatakbo ang batas sa Pilipinas. If you accuse someone of a fake identity you should have evidence to prove it or it will back fire. that's is the reason why the senate is digging deeper sa pag ka tao ni Guo. It is obvious she is lying yet the justice system will base everything sa documents. His statement is base on legalities if you listen carefully he is not defending anyone he is stating it how it goes sa batas.
Yan yung nakakalungkot sa sistema ng pinas kahit peke ang documents or magkaroon man deep fake ng AI kung may mga photos/videos na lalabas para sabihing Pilipino sya eh paniniwalaan yun as evidences kasi may prinesenta sila na documents. Kaya dapat din talaga sya idig deeper, tas ipa DNA Test din sya para malaman kung may ancestry sya na pagkafilipino at ipatawag/subpoena ang tatay.

Both parents of Poe were born in the Philippines and it didn’t create last minute before running as a Senator or Presidency. It’s afar comparison even if you use the so called “LAW” - Senator Escudero!
Mayor Guo obviously wasn’t born in the Philippines, and she was taught and used by “maybe” different individuals in order for her to learn Tagalog, learn how the country works, learn the easy way to be rich and have multiple businesses legal and illegal and maybe (money laundering) to suffice the growing different businesses they can think of in the soil of Philippine island and of course the compassion and sympathy. So if I were to ask, I would’ve known already that she’s not a Filipino citizen. She only learned how to speak, came out of the community after she turned 12-14 years old. What about growing up since 5years old until 12 years old??? And how come they only registered as to be Filipino born citizen only trusting the (make up story) of the father that she was born with a Filipina housekeeper of her Chinese father? Come on now! Senator Poe and Alice Guo are completely different cases.
It's the law and he was right to make that statement. It should also force the accusers to actually do a better job at finding legally binding proof against Guo because just accusing her without proof makes the accusers look like bullies who don't know how to do their job. I, for one, want them to find proof. A solid evidence is better than circumstantial ones and even better than just accusations.

Only Chiz is assuming Alice Guo is a foundling. She herself claimed to have a mother & a father. The issue is the names & citizenship declared in her birth certificates are not supported by FACTS, and in fact shown to be untrue. Is foundling the only possibility? NO. One, and most probable possibility is that her true parents are Chinese. In fact, Alice herself confirmed that her biological father is a Chinese

It’s always been the law that the accuser has to proved beyond reasonable doubt that accused is guilty in court of law and senate legal proceedings.Guo is being accused heavily - not citizen, illegally elected, spy, pogo asset. If proven , then should face consequences of her act.DONT rush to accused her. Let the legal process takes its course and prove her guilty beyond reasonable doubt.
As she put it, Mayor Guo's only proof of being a born Filipino is purely based on her father's word that her mother is filipino when her father applied to register her birth. Pero how can we prove na hindi filipino ang nanay nya if there were no documents of her existence at all (tho it wasn't mentioned in the hearing if they looked into Amelia Leal's school/DEPed records, medical records, LTO, Comelec voters list, Local Civil Registry, DOH i.e Covid vaccination, so on). The absence of any form of Philippine records should be enough for the senate to justify the mother's filipino nationality as declared only by the chinese father Angelito Guo is false & Invalid, like what we love to say "If it is not documented, it never happened". It would be best if our senators redirect their investigation by first going through our existing laws in registering births in general & naturalization requirements for foreign nationals in The Philippines. If proven that forgery happened & there were irregularities not only inside PSA for the issuance of her BC but also in DFA then that should be enough grounds to appeal in the court to nullify, void her issued BC and Philippine passport. No Philippine documents acquired using legal ways simply means you are an undocumented alien. Let's not complicate it.

Why do I get the impression that he's saying that there is nothing that he can do about the problems? He's passing on the responsibility to the agencies (solicitor-general, pagcor, justice department, law enforcement, DILG, COMELEC, etc.) which seem to be rife with corruption and incompetence and are incapable or unwilling to do their jobs. Is he saying he has no authority over them? Has the president no authority over them? Is there something wrong with our laws? Can incompetent and/or corrupt government employees not be removed/punished? What is the point of having higher officials when they cannot do anything to solve the nation's problems?
