I wonder why some people are complaining about low mileage. I am getting 14 in city and around 22-23 on highways. Driven over 3500 kms in 4 months. I think this is good.

But most of the punch owners in my city get 10-12 kmpl which is really low for a middle class budget friendly car. That is why i have compromised and switched to tiago for milaege purpose

No doubt Tata cars have best safety ratings but when we consider tata punch and Nexon petrol they have only 3 cylinder engine, considering their weight they should have 4 cylinder engine. Even though initially tata car engine is smooth and their will be less vibration but over the time engine start making noise only because they have 3 cylinders.
My opinion consider car which have 4 cylinder engine like Hyundai cars , Kia and Maruti. Most of the Maruti car have 4 cylinder engine still they have good mileage

Tata Punch's engine is as same as Tata tiago, Tigor, Camo, it's power is 84 bhp where as Tigor and tiago's power is 86 bhp, which is 2 points less then tiago, the Punch car is havier than tiago/tigor, it means there would be little lags than tiago/tigor.

My yearly running would b around 5000km mostly city. Can you recommend me some cars. Preference would be safety, mileage and ground clearance. Budget would b around 9lac
Bro I will suggest you increase your budget a little and you can check Nexon, Brezza and venue along with punch adventure with rhythm pack.
I live in a small city. Withing city I don't drive too long. But regularly go for long drive, Even in hilly roads . So I booked one Tata Panch. Now I am thinking over miladge issue. Some says it has power issue as well. I have Hodain Eon. I went to hilly raods of arunachal. But found Eon has ground clearance issue in off road. Bacically for ground cleanrance I am exchaning it with Punch. Have I gone for right decission ?

If your budget is upto 7.8 to 8 Lakh, Punch Adventure Rhythm is a very good option. It offers more space and comfort that i10, Ignis. There are other options like Kiger and Magnite, but consider them only if you are from big cities. Punch lacks initial pickup. It also lacks rapid acceleration after 90 kmph. While changing between 1st and reverse gear, mainly while parking, gears can get jammed temporarily. You need to bring clutch up and then press again to shift the gear. It offers comfortable and stable ride with superb AC and Music System. It offers 20 - 21 kmpl on High ways, with AC on and 3 Adults. Rear seat size is also decent for 3 adults.

I am having tata punch ,and it's been more than 3 months. My personal experience is that...punch will give you a good SUV feel . But if a person who is sporty kinda, he won't find punch better . Punch is better for nuclear family. It's pros our front look like tata harrier and Nexon, good sound system, cruise control ,heavy body ,heavy doors. Cons are mileage is bit low in city 12-14 and in highway 18-20 ,pickup lagging.But yes in cruise mode or light padle you can experience a good milege. Overall I will rate 8/10

Can't say anything right now abhi uski test drive available nahi hai but punch mai apko ek unique advantage milti hai vo hai iska boot CNG ke baad bhi apko approx 150 litre ka boot space milta hai baki performance test drive ke baad hi pata chalegi

Tiago is always a better car than Punch. Iska engine Tiago jeisi choti cars ke liye bani hein. Isliye Tiago ka pickup aur milage dono hi isse kafi better hein. Tiago bhi highway mein chipak ke chalti hein aur aapko pura confidence milega. So go for Tiago top model. Paisa bhi bachega aur features bhi milenge kafi reasonable price mein. Aur safety bhi Tiago ki kam nahi hein. 4 star is good enough. Dirve safely.

Bro there is approx 2 lakh difference in between PUNCH accomplished and Brezza VXI variant if that price difference is ok for you than i will suggest go for brezza otherwise if you are looking a car in between 7 to 8 lakh than Punch is a good option. In Brezza you will get 1500cc 4 cylinder engine which is more reliable

Jo meri calculation hai us hisab se Pure leke 6.60 lakh plus jo mujhe update karna hai car Mai 1.25 lakh upgradation cost after market, so roughly amount 8 lakhs mai pure padega. And accomplished with dazzle pack cost 9 lakh for company fitted features. And itne paise mai Nexon xe aa jaegi but mid suv hai so abhi mai confident nahi hun as new driver plus thoda bahut upgradation is mai bhi hogi.

भाई तुमने खरीदी है, तुम्हारे पैसे लगे है इस पर इसलिए पोजेटिव ज्यादा बोल रहे हो ।मेने अलग अलग 7 शोरूम पर इस गाड़ी को चलाया है जबकि मेने इस गाड़ी के लॉन्च के 2 महीने बाद इस गाड़ी को बुक करवा दी थी ।लेकिन में इस नतीजे पर पहुंचा की गाड़ी हर तरीके से सही है सिवाय इंजन के.... इसमें बहुत पवार लेग है यह कभी भी ओवरटेक नही कर सकती अब चाहे वजह इसका वजन ज्यादा हो या इंजन की इतनी केपब्लिटी नही हो जब इंजन में पावर नही है तीसरे चौथे गेर में पूरा पंजा दवा दो यह अपने हिसाब से चलेगी ऐसी स्थिति में जब हाइवे पर कुछ सेकंड का मामला होता है और वँहा इस तरह का लेग होगा तो चाहे कितने सेफ्टी फीचर हो धरे रह जाते है जब पावर लेग अपना काम कर चुका होता है वैसे जिसे A पॉइंट से B पॉइंट तक पहुंचना है धीरे धीरे तो वह आल्टो भी खरीद सकता है उसमें किसी भी गेर में पावर लेग नही है खैर मेने तो CITROEN C3 लेली है मुझे परफॉर्मेंस ओरियंटेड गाड़ी चाहिए थी जो CITROEN C3 में मुझे मिल गया कम बजट में एक अच्छे इंजन के साथ माइक्रो SUB जो कम्फर्ट ,सस्पेंशन राइड क्वालिटी ओर पावर में बहुत अच्छी है ।
