No one in music as wonderful as danny. Try to listen to anyone day after day on a road trip. It won't be long before another disk or playlist is necessary. Danny is better than everyone else.
> No one in music as wonderful as danny. It is sad to hear so many people who are either incapable of growing up or never grew up, making everything an air-headed competition with their empty heads as the judge ... you're contemptible.
@justgivemethetruth To have a favorite musician is not contemptible at all. It expresses a love of the music. This doesn’t mean that the other music is being put down. God bless Danny Kirwan and his beautiful music!
Thanks for the upload. This seems vaguely similar to another recording of Danny’s. Hints of “Doo Wop” and a simple yet elegant tune. Danny lives on in our hearts!
TPAwavelink ~ Not likely the reason it isn't on Second Chapter. Most of the songs on the album have more than a passing McCartney influence. At the time of its release, the critics took notice of it. Kirwan did indeed love The Beatles.
D K had a knack for Melody. Tunes that he wrote keep popping up. A very unusual guy. It's a shame he didn't last longer, but that's the way it seems to be with precious things, ethereal

Kinda like 1920's Jazz. I love the line: "Isn't it strange how madly we are in love, like the earth and the sky."
I just love Danny, he was a special human being
