- I'm really excited to see what Vortex will be like in the future. I think the strategy is to start small with baseplates and later expand to hangers. I'm sure that everything she makes from this stock will be reinvested into the company. Katie has already given me a sneak peak to what is to come, and seriously, we're in for a great ride!

This is super sick especially for the New Zealand scene because we only have like 3 companies and only 20 people who fingerboard

Thinking of buying some uags with vortex v3 plates. Im pretty new to fb but cant stant most china hangers.
I think these are the only trucks I don't own lol got 2×brt 2×dynamics 1×ytrucks and hella China trucks so might just cop some baseplates

A good improvement would be thicker axles, just like the professional trucks. I hate hearing my wheels shake
What do you mean by wheels shaking? Also they are working on making axels! They're just a lot more expensive to make so she needs to start small you know
Annie Yan nice love to hear it, yeah what I mean by that is that with a thinner axle the wheels shake, doesn’t fit the bearing properly.
That is not cuz the axis are too thin, it’s cause on the old Chinese hangars the axle is too long (or the hangar too short, take it as you want) and cuz of that you can’t tight up the wheels completely, that’s why your wheels are rattling….
But on newer hangars don’t have that issue anymore, there are the axis perfectly in shape with the hangars and they have hardened axis too (something the older hangars didn’t have ether)…
asi shop (Germany) has cheap shop trucks wich are basically china trucks but they have the 2.0 version (only 32mm left in stock) and the 3.0 trucks (32, 34 and 36mm) where you can compare exactly this points one o one and after I tried both I can clearly talk about the noticeable differences and that are quit a lot for just 5€ (more or less the same in us $) more…
When you tune them with level up bushings and better locknuts they are pretty close on my BRTs and I love my BRTs a lot…
So newer china trucks get better and better…
Ive been using the same eareka trucks for 20 bucks ever since they came out 2 months ago. Thare the same as y trucks but i love them i love the low feel, i dont ill be switching trucks for a long time lmao

Mine were difficult to put on and would only accept 2 screws after threading into the side of the base. Curious to know how your set up went? Also I noticed the pitch of the hanger is too far forward, needed a few washers on the bottom to help it sit more level. Once I did this the felt a lot better.
Mine were completely fine in application. The hanger issue is probably just a personal preference thing

haven't had issues actually. I'd reach out to Vortex to ask if it's possible to get them replaced

Edit: they are $35+ including shipping for America but they don’t ship to my country so they are unavailable for me so I will save some cash for dynamics

should probably change the thumb nail because its very misleading which makes people not want to buy the trucks because nobody wants 3d printed baseplates.. i saw this in someone else videos... and when i got my vortexs i could tell straight away they are metal.. i dont know what in the world makes people thing they are plastic...
