These are fun to fill and add to your junk journals! Stuff them with poems, quotes, old ledger, old dictionary pages, music pages, old stationery or writing paper you make yourself! A nice relaxing zen craft with me and a great way to use up scraps!

I love the papers at the beginning and ending of books too! They are called "end papers"! Genius. A single end paper is also a "flyleaf" which is neato. Also, it is warp and weft you are talking about when tearing fabric - you string up the loom with the warp and the weft thread goes back and forth to build the fabric. I love your channel! I just listen to you like a radio - you are so cheerful! And I love Sunny!! What a lovely boy!

I was playing with my envelopes yesterday with stencil paste and distress sprays. I’ll have to do this today. I have a whole pouch full of envelopes. It’s amazing how many people send you envelopes and expect you to send money, lol. Love listening to you!!!!

I just did this yesterday, Pam, went thru a tote of scraps, used quart zip bags to separate types & sizes of scraps. Now I should go back and reorganize them according to further types, but that takes time away from journal making.

I got out today, and we went to Michael's.
Mainly for the 70%off and to see if they had the boxes yet. Standing there looking at the Tim Holtz stamp pads they had many more of the Oxides that are new, but they are very expensive even if you get one with Buy 1 get one 50%off. 😳

Hi there Pam, I'm currently binge watching your channel, I'm a newbie journaller and I WILL make one soon, but I have been hoarding all sorts of loveliness for some time and have made a few bits and pieces of ephemera. Anyway, I was wondering, can you help me find a way to use the hard covers of a used up spiral notebook? They are portrait orientated, and have really pretty pictures on I just can't throw them away. Can I trim the spiral edge and add a spine maybe?, either way, thank you so much for inspiring us all, and making me believe I can do it too. 💝💝💝💝💝
I got my husband to go through all his ties ( many were old) to get rid of. Then before disgarding, I saved a couple of them that I especially liked, to use in junk journalling. Maybe if I make a masculine junk journal, these can be cut up for fabric ruffles on a page instead of flowers or lace ruffles.

Lovely ideas! My ideas are boring.
I just lay my junk mail flat in my sink and soak in water then roll them into logs for my fire pit.
I squeeze the water out then set them in the sun to dry.
Sometimes if I have melted wax in my fragrance burners that need to be disposed of, I dip the ends of my logs in it to soak up.
They light faster and burn longer.
Not a very artistic idea but its functional and my junk mail is repurposed. 🙃😁🙃

Those two words might be “2 box Bluing.” Bluing was used to brighten whites in the laundry rinse water.
