They have been teasing windwaker and twilight princess for several years with thousands of rumors, granted when paper Mario TTYD was teased last year and maybe the year before that, Nintendo did finally announce it late last year with it coming out in less than two weeks, maybe I could be wrong but only time will tell

I personally love the idea of Zelda and a playable character and I also want to see most of the movie based around her. We have so many legends where we know whats happening with Link, especially in OOT. I wanna know Zelda’s role behind the scenes in that game, what all she is doing, I wanna know more about the Sheikah tribes. Even if they are smaller one off games, I would love to have some answers between games filled in. One in particular the tribe from MM. Ultimately, yes to a Zelda game where Zelda is playable if not the entire game but switch off between Zelda and Link. I have been waiting for a remake of the Oracle games, I wish they wouldn’t do them in the toon style they did for LA, though they probably will. I think a realistic version of the games would be really beautiful. I know I get flack for it, but I am not the biggest fan of OOT. It’s not the game, even though it made me feel like it was a beefy version of LTTP when I first played it. I love the game though, but they desperately need to fix Hyrule Field! Other then that, the game is great. I would like to see that one as a game you could play as Sheik(Zelda). I love Zelda and I can’t wait to see what the new games will bring.

Or the possible Zelda game is merely a Tears of the Kingdom DLC that adds an additional campaign where we get to play as Zelda. That'd be the easiest path to take for Nintendo since their TotK Pipeline is probably still setup and it is easier to make DLC than it is to build a whole new game.
I think it be cool to play within a legend of zelda game but from Zelda’s perspective, like we play as her during the events of like Ocarina of time, breath of the wild, skyward sword etc we can see what she has doing while Link is doing what he does best. That way if Nintendo wants to test the waters with this, this could be a 20-30$ game with like a 8 hour campaign and if it does well, maybe on switch 2 we can get a full length. i think that would AWESOME.

This is what I would personally love to see as a Zelda spinoff The Legend of Zelda: Way of the Sheikah Takes place in Ocarina of Time during the 7 year gap where Link gets sealed in the Sacred Realm. As Princess Zelda, you will train your way through the trials of the Sheikah, learning techniques and powers to ultimately become Shiek and reunite with Link near the end of Ocarina of Time.
As a companion character or a helper like in Spirit Tracks then yes, as for Zelda being the main protegonist and Link not appearing or being rescued then no

The Zelda as the star game should be called The Legend of Link, and unlike Zelda but still very similar it should be a Fantasy-Action-RPG whereas the main Zelda games are Fantasy-Action-Adventure. That is I want to start a new series and hire many so both series can be made often. . Also The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Metacritic score probably does for the Zelda series something no ad can match, it tells many potential players these games are truly good maybe even better than any other series.
I have been dying to play a playable Zelda open world game. Something epic, and fresh. Would be cool if they incorporate old lore like the sacred realm, and the triforce in this one. I will be disappointed if it’s 2D or a Hyrule warriors game. Something epic is definitely required if they are finally making Zelda a playable character.
I could play as a female waifuu character in Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Fallout, etc. Nintendo is behind with making Zelda as a playable character in their RPG.
If they do OoT I would want a full remake, not just updated graphics. I would want the game to be the same story wise of course but overworld and dungeons completely remade bigger of course but still following the same trend. I have many ways to play OoT so a completely new version that's uograded in every way would be nice.

I really want twilight princess remaster for switch haven't played since the wii days. Limk to the past is my favourite Zelda game of all time since 1991 i bought on the SNES. ♥️
The Zelda as the star game should be called The Legend of Link, and unlike Zelda but still very similar it should be a Fantasy-Action-RPG whereas the main Zelda games are Fantasy-Action-Adventure. That is I want to start a new series and hire many so both series can be made often.

Also The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Metacritic score probably does for the Zelda series something no ad can match, it tells many potential players these games are truly good maybe even better than any other series.
I have been dying to play a playable Zelda open world game. Something epic, and fresh. Would be cool if they incorporate old lore like the sacred realm, and the triforce in this one. I will be disappointed if it’s 2D or a Hyrule warriors game. Something epic is definitely required if they are finally making Zelda a playable character.
I could play as a female waifuu character in Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Fallout, etc. Nintendo is behind with making Zelda as a playable character in their RPG.

If they do OoT I would want a full remake, not just updated graphics. I would want the game to be the same story wise of course but overworld and dungeons completely remade bigger of course but still following the same trend. I have many ways to play OoT so a completely new version that's uograded in every way would be nice.
I am not into the Zelda games but have friends who are and I do hope for the fans sake they at least get SOMETHING. Every time Nintendo fails to bring anything my heart goes out to them since I used to be a Zelda fan LONG before I am an RPG fan so I understand what they are going through.
Right now we got wind waker HD and twilight princess HD hopefully coming out in stores this year there ready to go we just need to get the release date for these games to come out there some possibilities for these games that we could have them coming out as a duo pack and there is possibilities that they could be sold separately so one way or the other I'm getting both games on the switch even if I have to get the switch 2. I am predicting hopefully Nintendo will give us wind waker HD and twilight princess HD as a duo pack so fingers crossed that in the june direct will give us good news for wind waker HD and twilight princess HD hopefully we will get the release date. Then next year Ocarina of time hd and majoras mask maybe we will get all the legend of zelda classics. Oracle of seasons and ages I can easily see them as a duo pack in the links awakening animation. For 2024 wind waker HD and twilight princess HD never lose hope so june direct don't let us down.

Id love a ocarina of time remade in botw style. That would be insane. And maybe underwater hyrule exploration cut content for windwaker being remade in the same way would be cool. And I feel like it mostly was a hardware restriction because of the technology at that time.

If this is true then this game has been in the kitchen for years as we know Zelda games take a lot of time to cook. Keep in mind if this is true then this doesn't mean they are killing off link. They'll be other Zelda games with link as playable character. I say let those who want this have this. ...Later
It's probably not going to be a remake. I'm thinking it's a totally new game. I am really hoping for a remake of a top-down classic.
Oh man, I really hope on the switch 2 they remake Links Awakening with the HD 2d style (I know their not going to lol)
