So to cool to have it explained, what is even cooler is the the reason he does it is so the band maintains control of the show. Most bands have the engineer or guitar tech start and stop these parts
It's nice to finally see a Bass player get featured with gear and stuff...very nice bass players are so underrated with the job they do and what they contribute to the power of music...thank you and nice to see you playing still in these sad days of music. Rock on Bass players!!!!!❤❤❤
Also love how the band members are all self aware, self produced, and have a sense of humor even with the trick in the shower. And, obviously as anyone reading knows, just great to see and know how each member contributes and gets along. So rare.
Sav has still got it! Def leppard will be listened to for many years to come. future generations will still be listening to the best era of rock and roll! Rock on!!
Well Rick Savage is a hell of a bass player and his vocals are still really amazing, the lads were my favorite band in the eightees, love the leppard !!!
Thank you, Sav, for the insight behind your pedal board...way cool! ummm emphasis what Joe said "no playing Drastic Symphonies, we don't have an orchestra YET ...that to come down the road" 😃
Absolutely loved that Ryan shared Sav's tutorial of the pedal boards, textures, and the sounds they make. And, how Sav made it clear it's the band singing and playing the guitar parts. The editing with Love Bites covers what many discuss in multiple reddit explanations and UA-cam videos. Fantastic. Thank you.
I'm 61 and it's great to see these fella's still doing their thing still. However none better than seeing Rick Allen's old face still playing. Here's to your perseverance , Well done.
Can't believe they keep such a grueling schedule at their ages....that's devotion and they clearly love what they are doing. Saw them in San Diego 1992 was fantastic.
I was born with a disability which to me is easier to deal with than becoming disabled in some way like rick did, but I can promise you you wouldn't give up if you found yourself in that situation,, something just kicks in when you're faced with something like that and makes you determined to not let it beat you. I mean some might but most would find a way. I think the best thing about Rick's story was the rest of the band not giving up on him, that's a good thing to have too, there are days when I need a kick up the arse and I get it from people around me lol
Love this ! Really liked the section of Sav demo-ing his set up . That answers a ton of questions from me . I wish it went deeper into a full rig rundown . I'll keep watching for that somewhere . Thanks Everyone .
Ryan you’re a genius. Thank you for recording all this, every night. The edits are amazing, never stop doing that. And thanks for recording Sav’s explanation, that was amazing, I didn’t know what the pedals were for.
This info is so interesting! Thanks for teaching us about the technical aspects behind the scenes. I’m on day 4 of recovering from seeing DL in Atlanta 2024. How do you all do this at your age? I’m your age and only went to one show 😂😂😂😂 Love you guys. Rock on!
I absolutely LOVED Sav's explanation of his bass sounds! Sturgis looked AWESOME, crazy nuts! Thanks for the next tour logue! I always look forward to these! Cheers and ROCK ON!🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸❤❤❤
It was so good to see the pedal board demo. I remember seeing Sav occasionally play keyboards in your earliest videos. I am assuming the pedal board acts like the keyboards now. Thanks for the explanation Sav!💯😎
Love the part of Savage showing us the pedals ,FYI we knew it had nothing to do with vocals , one thing that we love is you ARE live in concert , technology helps make more musical sounds easier than 30-40 years ago . Phil nice clothes switch , not bad at all . Love you guys , you are awesome gentlemen and inspiration to my writing a lot . Maybe someday you will read some ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Can not wait for you guys to come back to Noblesville, Indiana for my 8th Concert to see you all!!! Love your Music!!! Yes, I want to get Rocked by Def Leppard!!!❤
Sav very interesting! I'm so not musically inclined, but I really enjoy your lessons about the different stages of how the songs work. Phil, you are the magician 😂😊
I Love these behind the scenes clips. The technical aspect from sound, to lighting, to just putting it all together, is amazing! The explanations (whys-what for), just go too show the detailed dedication of not just the band, but all the crew member's, who make the stage show look fantastic every night. Very cool!
Thank You,Guy's,Of ("Def Leppard,".) For Doing, This, Exclusive Special Video. Such A ("Super Great,Video,".) Boy's. Love, You , Guy's. ❤❤❤❤❤❤. ("Rock On,Boy's.,")
I love watching videos from your tour. Every time I learn something new about you. Sav you are the best bass player in the world I love your sense of humor. I love you all. You are the best❤❤❤
Absolutely amazing!! Love the behind scenes info about gear and how they use it from Rick. Good Rock music never dies, keep it up boys. Hope to see you in Canada again soon, cheers!
I absolutely love Sav's breakdown of the layers of sounds in some of the songs. It's a real behind the scenes glimpse into the magic on stage!
Very cool, I agree. Especially when they show him doing it live.
I wonder if he's ever had a misstep and missed the correct pedal. That was a cool breakdown.
So to cool to have it explained, what is even cooler is the the reason he does it is so the band maintains control of the show. Most bands have the engineer or guitar tech start and stop these parts
Love Def Leppard and I’m only 10 years old! They are my favorite band
great, I was 13, that was
1983 👏👍
It's good ! Congratulation !
Your parents raised you right 🤘😁🤘
I’ve been listening to Def Leppard since I was 2 years old and now I’m almost 11
Dude hell yea we need more people today listening to this amazing music
The pedal explanation was fabulous ❤
It's nice to finally see a Bass player get featured with gear and stuff...very nice bass players are so underrated with the job they do and what they contribute to the power of music...thank you and nice to see you playing still in these sad days of music. Rock on Bass players!!!!!❤❤❤
Goes to show you, Def Leppard spans the generations. Been a fan since the 80's , and always will.
💯 Right on!‼️💙❤️
Also love how the band members are all self aware, self produced, and have a sense of humor even with the trick in the shower. And, obviously as anyone reading knows, just great to see and know how each member contributes and gets along. So rare.
Yup, seemingly down to earth, without a head up the ass. 👏😆👋🇺🇸
They would have to get along otherwise it would miserable if they didn't get along with each other.
Sav has still got it! Def leppard will be listened to for many years to come. future generations will still be listening to the best era of rock and roll! Rock on!!
First of all Def Leppard rocks and as a bass player myself I love how sav breaks down his Roland Pedal Board. He is an underappreciated bass player.
Loved the bass and pedal walk through.
Me too ❤
@@suzzy1790please don’t tell him to go home I am so sick I am not even 😊o
Well Rick Savage is a hell of a bass player and his vocals are still really amazing, the lads were my favorite band in the eightees, love the leppard !!!

Rick Savage's overview of his pedals was amazing. ❤
Pretty cool seeing Sav's pedals!!!
I'm 61 and it's great to see these fella's still doing their thing still. However none better than seeing Rick Allen's old face still playing. Here's to your perseverance , Well done.
The Sav pedal board bits.....priceless!!!!
Can't believe they keep such a grueling schedule at their ages....that's devotion and they clearly love what they are doing. Saw them in San Diego 1992 was fantastic.
Been listening to you since I was 14. I am 59 years old and still listen to your music! I'm a die hard 😂
Same.
I’m 54 and the 3rd LP I ever bought with my own money (from cutting grass) was “On Through the Night” in ‘80. :)
Right on Sav! Aidan is an amazing tech and even better person! 🎸✨️🎶
As a drummer, Rick’s story still touches me. I had to cry a little bit. I would have given up. What a heroe!❤
I was born with a disability which to me is easier to deal with than becoming disabled in some way like rick did, but I can promise you you wouldn't give up if you found yourself in that situation,, something just kicks in when you're faced with something like that and makes you determined to not let it beat you. Hope you heal soon, Joe! Loads of love to all of you my lads!

I’m a big Star Trek fan, and an even bigger Def Leppard fan, and hearing Joe Elliott do Captains Log just caused me to blow a gasket.

It was so good to see the pedal board demo. I remember seeing Sav occasionally play keyboards in your earliest videos. I am assuming the pedal board acts like the keyboards now. Thanks for the explanation Sav!💯😎
