Raul is one of the very few who can cover a Roy Orbison song. I was a huge Roy Orbison fan and I'm a huge fan of Raul Malo and the Mavericks. this is great.
Got that right! I grew up a heavy metal fan but I could get lost in Raul Malo's voice(The Mavrricks) for days. Mom says he's as great as Roy was. Glad to see another recently enjoying this great music. God bless you and yours.🙏👍
On Roy Orbison's final album "Mystery Girl" there's a song entitled "A Love So Beautiful". Michael Bolton covered it for his 1995 Greatest Hits compilation. Now I just wanna hear Raul Malo cover it. I'm sure he'd nail it. Raul Malo is an absolute legend!

Raul is the Voice. We met him in a small Carolina theater what a down to earth nice guy. Should have gotten pics, but I hate the celeb worship thing. He is wonderful and very under appreciated.
I think Raul should make a tribute album of Roy's work with his great band, "The Maverics". Only HE could pull it off. This was a great rendition of a classic song. Good job my friend.
