If I was on a team with 8 other people I would've sent units to harass the one guy's economy as fast as i possibly could. If even one of those people are willing to sacrifice themselves early, it would be nearly impossible for you to recover.
Well i was a player in that game "Fury" and it may sound possible like most trolls are commenting here some of the lower score players were slinging to the Mista and other top guy. Basically handicap is a lot to deal with when your opponent is eggy spaming towers and mercenaries and have a wonder before u can get any real army out.

I had to win by fortifying a corner and building a wonder. Thankfully on easy the AI didn't really send their titans to attack or else I would've been toast.

Player 1 played very well and other 2 guys too but what about other 6-7 guys. They were not in sync and all played individual not as a team. 3 should have attacked @early stage, 3 in mid and other 3 should have focused on economy and sent resources to mid 3. Player 1 has played really well, on top of table with economy, military, defenses and strategy and deserve praise.
Whats my skill level? Downloaded the game 4 days ago after playing it as a kid 10 years ago,and once more 5 years ago. I beat hard bots 2 times by far( no wonder no titan) havent played against titan bots or multiplayer

I believe the limit is 4 reasonable players, maybe 5 with enough luck. 9 is too much. Opponents must be unreasonable in that case, or at least some of them. Since the author undirectly claims an unbelievable victory versus 9 real opponents, it is expected the commentators(viewers) to be criticall to the very unflawles execution.

Once you build one (they are very expensive) a timer begins counting down (shown on right of screen) and you win the game in 10 minutes if your Wonder is not destroyed. The only chance he had in this match was to build a Wonder as fast as possible, and then defend it for 10 minutes.

Seriously, 2-3 people should've gone full economy, only to tribute others. At least two of the others should've harassed their villagers early game even sending soldiers to certain death. The others should've prepared a proper army for the endgame. They wasted a lot of Hersirs just to attack an insignificant town center only to fail.
Nuce. I prefer a more slow paced game hut i understand you need to be quick in these type of games. But i wish you could slow down gAme time to make it more tactical and disision based rather that a race against thd clock

The bots are better than most players. The playstyle is predictable but the AI knows how to micromanage especially when it comes to battles.

Even with the handicap you still should have not lived long enough to see the heroic age. They must have all been really bad.

It is +200% build speed, +200% gather rate, +200% training speed, +200% tech research rate. That means you are 3x better at everything.

Yes. The gather rate means each unit of food/wood/gold your villager gets, you get 3x that amount. The rest is correct.
