Hey you beautiful bunch ... HAPPY NEW YEAR !!
Firstly huge thank you and shout out to Daniel Cooper who has designed a new Intro for me.
Also a huge thank you to Scot who designed my very first ever intro.
In this video I will be sharing with you how I used HTVRont Iron on Vinyl as a beginner to create a gorgeous simple picture and some huge Shopper bags .. I feel like I could have kept going all night long .. The HTVRont Iron on Vinyl was so easy to use and came with a double sided A4 sheet of instructions. The HTVRont Iron on Vinyl is a cold peel which means to need to allow the vinyl to cool down before peeling off the clear plastic transfer tape.
This video is aimed at the beginner Cricut user and beginner iron on user.
Make sure you remember to FLIP your wording on screen in order for the vinyl to cut it. After weeding, place your vinyl down on to your fabric surface. Press and hold your heat source for 15 secs. Wait for the vinyl to cool down before removing transfer tape.
All of the details for the HTVRont vinyl are below. There are 20 x 20% codes available and you have until 19th January in which to use the code.
To receive a code please e mail me.. THE CODE IS FOR HEAT TRANSFER ONLY

I have 20 single use codes. I will need to e mail them to you. When they are gone they are gone.

Hi Claire, love the video. If you forget to flip on design space you can click mirror after you have clicked make it. I’ve had my Cricut air 2 for 3 years and still find something new
Thank you so much Michelle ... honestly I had no idea bout the mirror haaaaa I have learned so much from this x
I would put any of those slogans on a t-shirt and wear it proudly.
Thank you for this video, I have cricut phobia, I got mine last Christmas. Like you I am still learning how to use it, I definitely learnt something new today, thanks for that. My daughter just gets stuck in with it, she recently made her and her friends personalised tshirts for a 00s weekend at Butlins, they looked great. For Christmas she made my parents personalised bags, For Grandad she put on the bag I am not retired I am a professional Grandad and for Grandma, My Broomstick broke so now I sew! For our neighbour she put I just want to stay home and craft with a christmas gnome on. I just love watching your videos, seriously tempted to order some vinyl now lol x
Ohhhh Debs I love that ... what amazing gifts 😍😍 and so thoughtful too xxx really glad you enjoyed the video xx ❤❤❤
Those slogans were absolutely hilarious! 🤣
thank yooo Mizz x ha they are totally
Hi Claire. The framed artwork is so beautiful! I love the shopping bags and different sayings ❤️❤️💕💕
thank you so much Lisa xx
You can just mirror your mat and that
Thankyou so much xx I had no idea xx
Loving your new intro!!! And.... The bags are ace!!!!
thank you so much Melanie xx
WOW endless possibilities! 💖💖💖👏👏👏🇦🇺
Ahhhh there really are ! xxx I have used the big bag too it literally holds sooo much ! haaaa
Love the bag for life 😂😂😂👍🏼

I love your new introduction! Those bags are sweet. I love your ideas. I’m so far behind on videos. I’m trying to catch up. You are doing awesome Claire.
Thankyou so much lovely xxx Oh no pressure to catch up at all xx
Very cool
thank you lovely xx
Love these and all your help with the cricut as its perfect
thank you so much Paula xx
great video. Learned a lot and loved your bags big time.
Love the intro too.
heyyyy girl yay so glad you love the intro x
Love this Claire x
thankyou so much lovely xxx
I love these. I have a maker3 that I have had for only a couple months and a easy press mini. I have made a few shirts, but I really need the bigger easy press or a clamshell press. I love my cricut and those saying for bags are amazing.
Thank you so much Daphne Oh I am so glad you like them x That is next on y list .. the heat press x I a not so fussed about the mug press but maybe one day
Just luv it🥰😂🥰
Thank you so much Lorna xxx
Yay, a Cricut tutorial!! :) I hope you do many more! Great tips for beginners. LOVE these bags, and that heat transfer vinyl looks amazing! I'm excited to start using my heat press! So nervous though. lol. But I was nervous when I started resin too. Just got to do it!
Ahhhh Trish honestly ... turn the machine on and link it to your computer you will not regret it ! haaa xx
Love the cricut vids. I bought one last January and still learning. I love print then cut for stickers! So many projects can be done with it. I have made tote bags and tshirts too! I need to invest in the heat press too but the iron is good for now haha. Made me giggle when you said press iron for 15 mins! haha. Love the intro too!
ha ha omg when i was litening back to the voiceover i was like NOOOOOOOOOOOO you'll burn the house down ha ha ha oh print then cut sounds so much fun !! I would love to do that x
Thank you, Claire
thank you Rebecca xx
What a great video! I love it! Thank you. None of your videos are too long. I love learning from you. I'm still waiting to set my cricut up. Every time I start to clear a space for it, something else comes up. Haha! I do turtle and tortoise rescue and thought I'd copy a friends sticker but change it to turtles. "I'm one turtle away from crazy!" Lol
Jennifer Maker is awesome! I'm subscribed to her channel too. She's step by step and clear. Love her!
ohhh that is amazing what a rewarding thing that is xxx I hope you get to use it soon xxx
I prefer weeding HTV over removable or permanent vinyl. I love the bags, especially the ‘I’m just a girl…’
Ahhhh Kelly it weeded like an absolute dream ... I was just so used to the sticky bits needing a home ha ha ha
Me again, lol. If you was wanting to cut the whole thing out as 1 lot like you had it designed on the screen. You can select all of the lines of words and group them together in the actions tab or you can attach them together in the actions tab too. That way if you want to cut a slogan out in the same colour of vinyl, then it won't all be spread out on separate mats. Also, another great tip is so you don't forget to mirror the image for HTV, keep your dial set on Custom Settings, and choose what you are cutting from the list. That way if you do need to mirror the image/phrase, then you can click the Mirror image tab below the mat on the make it screen. Hope this is useful for future use. All the best, Diane, UK xx
thank you so so so much honestly ... I really appreciate you and such amazing advice !! xx you're amazing xxx
Hey Claire, great video. recently got myself a Cricut Maker and I am loving it too. Had an older model many years back so this 1 was quite a surprise on how much better the machines are now. Had a giggle to myself while watching the video though when you was showing the font names. Or not as the case may be lol. You was only showing the style and size of the fonts and sadly not the names of them. I think you needed to scooch over a bit to the left of the screen when you zoomed in to show the font name. Not to worry though, cuz enjoyed watching you learn the craft. I know I am enjoying learning how to use my 1 myself. All the best, Diane, UK xx
Heyyyyyy lovely ... oh no 🤣🤣 how utterly clueless I am 🤣🤣🤣🤣 thankyou so much I will look for them next time haaaa xxx I would love a Maker
It's teflon Claire!! Lol. It's a heat protectant. I think I need to give you a cricut day lol weed on your transfer tape for normal vinyl.. it helps SO much. Seriously I just want to come over and show you everything lol.. the iron doesn't work as well as you think it does because you aren't applying pressure. Even using the easy press mini.. you have to PRESS down. Ideally it should show the grain of the fabric through the vinyl. Because this is in a frame it won't give you trouble but on a shirt or such it might come off faster on something you use everyday and wash. ( I only have a mini.. but pressing down is important as is temperature) ( id happily show you the shadow box you liked :) )
Heyyyyyyy Dana .. yes yes Teflon haaaa I knew that too but it totally wasn't there when I needed it haaaa oh how much I would love love an actual physical tutorial haaaaaa
Firstly, I love your new intro, very fancy and profesh!!! Loves it!! Second choosing the font is the bloody worst!!! Hahaha I’m totally with you in this one. I haven’t tried the iron on vinyl yet I’m a bit scared to use it as I have no clue so this video was perfect for me. I have a few plain tshirts that I can practise on so I might give it a go! I was a bit hesitant to try without a heat press but might give the iron a try. Bit hard to justify $400 for what is really just a big fancy iron isn’t it lol. Absolutely love the shopping bags though!!! Lol I might create a tshirt slogan that reads ‘my first heat transfer project’ but have the words actually backwards as in (you forgot to flip the words) lol cause like if you know you know 😂😂
haaaaaaaaaaaa omggg babe that is such a great idea haaaaa then it will read the right way round in the mirror or selfie mode haaaaaa and yes ... the heat press is ££££££
Hi Claire x
hi Jane
Ooooo i just use the mirror function once you hit make to flip the design i Didnt know you could do it before! X
Ohhhhh I didn't know there was a mirror function 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@ClairesCraftyCorner i didnt know there was a flip option 😂
@@jamieswallow8841 🤣🤣🤣🤣❤❤❤
Hiya x
heyyyy xx
Happy New Year to you and your family. Great video. I just wanted to suggest something that I do to help my laptop. You could go on Amazon or PC world (which is where I got mine). Look for external storage, plug and play. I have a 4TB external storage device, and boy it helps. Now each week I get the things on my old laptop onto the device and then the laptop runs as if it is a new one. Just a recommendation to speed things up for you. Hope it helps you in some way. 😁 xx
heyyyyy Pammi ... I actually did this straight after this video ha ha I have 2 storage external drives .. My laptop is now empty so hopefully it helps xxx thank you so much x
@@ClairesCraftyCorner Oh wow this is excellent news. Anything to help my favourite resin guru. I will be interested to know if all is now working well. xxx
@@pammipayne3334 thanks lovely 😍😍😍 so far so good .. I haven't used the cricut since .. but hopefully it makes it faster xx
@@ClairesCraftyCorner Most welcome. I wish you luck and success in all you do. I admire you, why? because you said this is what I love, you quit stability and took on the one dream I have always had. To follow your dreams is not an easy thing. But you do it with poise, grace and excitement. Or as I read in University. "If you can get up and do something you love then you will never work again". (sociology & Psychology teachings). xxx
Gorgeous work Claire! Yep, why buy coasters from kmart for $5.00 when I can make them from Resin for $15.00
haaaaa that is so so true !! haaaa
Looking great Claire! I also got caught out by not flipping the words the first time I used iron-on inkjet film. It's so annoying!
ohhh thanks lovey xxx yeh it is a task to remember x
Hey, fyi , you don’t need to flip your design when you design it, just press Mirror On after you hit make it x
Thankyou .. I dont know where that is x Im new here 🤣🤣 I will learn though for sure
@@ClairesCraftyCorner hey!! I am brand new to cricut too and have loved playing with the different vinyls. The place to mirror is where all the mats are shown after you press make it and continue. Under each mat on the left side, it will say mirror off, just click it and it will change to mirror on. X
Could I please ask what model Cricut you are using and does it do everything you want it to? I'm looking at getting one but not sure on what model to go for. Thank you x
Heyyyyyy Jo .. I have a Cricut Exolor Air 2 ... it does everything I want it to ... it also cuts wood, fabric etc ... but not sure I will ever use that function x
@@ClairesCraftyCorner Thank you, I didn't realize how many different ones there are, still not sure which one to get lol
Heeey
