Really nice work mate. Just a small nitpick, with the novice rules, to-hit starts at 2, and I think I can make a character with a MD of 4, so you might want to reduce the minimum values for completeness ;)
@Fred-drk i started work on this before the novice rules and that isn't out yet. You can simulare both of these scenarios by increasing PD in the case of novice, or increasing to hit on the case of 4 MD. I may add these options at some point but they are not urgent. Since the MD values are based on monsters, not players, and if you are optimizing level 0/novice then you are sort of missing the point

@@aueZlZane well some class features are not quite so simple. In fact most aren't. Things like budding allies require making some assumptions. Plus this calculator doesn't tell you about differences in resources spent and how that might influence your choice. However, i will say Barbarian and rogue have good damage, but commander and bard currently have some of the highest damage
Great video! My only suggestion is to zoom in a little bit next time, 50% of the screen is not being used and is kinda hard to read. But nice work non the less!
@GrippaNL yes I will try to make 1 video a week but we'll see how realistic of a goal that is. The game development (and my real life commitments) are a higher priority
I'm not sure if this is a sigh of disappointment but if this kind of stuff isn't your style thats ok. Not everyone needs to do math for their game. But some people want to so I'm here providing information and resources for that.
