Am i the only one who realized how effortless the animations look in sky now? All they do now is use the emotes for the animation, also we got no lore behind sky now besides the two embers, its like they completely forgot about the elders existence
I don’t quite understand what you mean about the animations/emotes because they definitely stepped up from just using normal emotes and actually animate stuff themselves now, also I think while yes it’s like they’ve forgotten about lore and we’ve had a lot of filler seasons, I don’t think they should just dump a bunch of lore in for every season we get or have to sprinkle in some, I think there’s fun in speculation and theorizing with everything we get that’s not explained, that’s just my opinion though so you don’t have to agree
i havent been playing very long and idk about the animation, but you can’t really say we have no lore and that they aren’t focusing on it, we don’t even know what the two embers movie will have in it yet.
I mean in moomin I did notice that. But did you guys see the animation change for eden? It's beautiful, when you come back home you seem more confused and kind of shooken up, almost amazed by the journey you have gone on and the fact you are alive. But sadly they make you walk slower in the part with the child of light in the dark room.

I think people forget that this is a collab season which means if something looks like a replica or way too close to the original IP of said collab, they can't keep it in game on the spirits for them to return anytime. This is why there's many IAP here. They can't just give it out for free when they have to pay royalties for the IP.
They are under legal contract as well and they have to follow that

@@8bonehead8 my only complaint is that I honestly think the nini cape shouldn't be IAP at all?? if it were a copy of her dress, yes! but this is a cape that can easily be in the pass same with moomin ears + tail I think those should've been the ult cosmetics and not the ugly umbrella lmao
@@StarCoordinate594 yeah the moomin tail and ears should definitively be in the pass but if they don’t change it to end up being in it I’m just gonna buy that instead of the pass lol
More & more useless spells & junk filling the trees. Expensive prices too on those. This is the season of separate purchases for those with extra money to waste & eff everyone else. Bet Mischief will be a major drag for f2p also.

I can't wait to spam it in my nest muhahaha.
Also the idea of entering the world of the book as a watcher like you do in books is a nice change I actually like for that season.
It looks like it will be a light-hearted season like the season of duets (except for the parts where we dive deep into Ninny's trauma)
I wish that they make the connection between the abstract levels and the story much more fleshed out because it feels jarring going from "aww bittersweet story about Ninny and the Moomin family" then we shift suddenly to "Delving deep inside a lost broken heart of a child"
And I wish they add a book that we can buy for free in the season for the nest, I want books in my nest :')

As for moomin:
I understand collab seasons have IAPs, especially a lot of IAPs if it's a bigger collaboration season, (aurora was a big one and moomin seems to be one too) but I should be able to complete a spirit's/character's look via the pass by itself, while the IAP serves as a bonus item.
I hate to say this but I'm at the point where I am willing to barter for this thing if needed. Not to get a fully free season but a reasonable season that has something reasonable. I doubt this would work as the developers are in california and in california and USA bartering is not usually approved unless it is for something like expensive furniture, or a car. However, if you know how to barter in the way that would work in California, then you are welcome to try; good luck.

It really sucks you will have to spend real $ to complete even one outfit on top of buying the pass. I do like the invisible clothes.....but the season seems like a big cash grab. Idk maybe it's the Moomin peeps. Little prince and aurora weren't like this

I returned to the game and noticed a thing. Initially, all the sky players appear to be wearing the default cape, right? But, whenever you light their candles, they have different capes on. I'm sure this thing wasn't in the game before, as I've been playing it for a good while now. I'm wondering if this alteration is related to player privacy protection or something?
It’s probably much easier on the severs to keep folks generic looking until lit up.
i think tgc were saying that some players were harassing other players over capes, aurora cape especially so they replaced the feature of seeing other capes for the generic default one instead. that was what i heard

Tbh i csnt understand much about moomin and the valley. Like why is it so dark??? I watched a moomin episode and it was so cute and adorable why is everything gray? Someone explain pls🙏
This season has a heavy focus on Ninny and her story. She experienced harm and fear coming from her previous caretaker before going to moomin valley. This harm was to the point it made her lose connection with others and turn invisible. I think TGC and Moomin are using colour and visibility to symbolize connection, safety, trust, and acceptance. The more of these she gains, the more visible she will become. As for us seeing colour, the closer we are to seeing a connection, the more colour will be seen.
Harm and fear, that’s just great. Will be reliving my childhood in the only game that has ever brought me peace.
Ninny is reliving her darkness-childhood unhappiness through nightmares when she goes to sleep at night. If you notice, when the blackout happens at the end, she comes to and returns to her bed, the nightmare dream gone. (even thought they don’t show that part of her returning to normal, in her bed. Think in one of the early quests, when she starts having these nightmares. she is seen at the end, in her bed, with the darkness gone.

I’m pretty sure if you hold someone’s hand whirl you ride the broom, they just stand next to the broom. And for piggyback, you just carry them on your shoulders as normal:D
