Hi Sandra, I’m sorry you went through all that with the fainting spells. Hoping and praying the medication you were on was indeed causing the spells. The pictures of your great grandkids were beautiful. So cute! Take care of yourself. Love and Kindness, Teresa
What was alarming to me was that they were trying to call you to tell you about the flatlining and you had to wait all that time to finally get the doctor to take you off the meds. They should have alerted your doctor. Do you ever watch Dr. Barbara O'Neill's videos? She has so many natural remedies and has talked about how the medical industry has changed the standards for what used to be normal for levels of cholesterol and readings for blood pressure. Then the doctors prescribe the medications to lower the levels, making more money for the pharmaceutical companies, and people suffer from the side effects. I will pray that you can wean yourself off the medications, and find ways to prevent blood clots such as increasing Vitamin C through foods. Thank the Lord that He protected your life Sandra. I will say a prayer for you. Bp medicine is not always easy for some people, I have been on 15 or more and did faint, and other bad side affects Having covid has changed many peoples heart not in a good way. Deep breathing 4 seconds in through nose and 7seconds out through your mouth may help, also a resperate machine , do your own research. Love the baby pictures something about babies just makes me smile 😊. Thank you❤
I have arterial flutter & it was suggested by a cardiologist to have a procedure called ablation. After talking to a few different relatives & researching, I learned that sometimes ablations have to be done more than once.. and sometimes they don't work. I elected not to have it done. I read that high calcium vitamins can cause arterial flutter. Also, lack of electrolytes & potassium can cause arterial flutter. Since I stopped the calcium vit & started drinking liquid iv powder (electrolytes & potassium), mixing this powder in my 16 oz water tumbler, I haven't had any episodes. Sometimes, we have to be our own advocate. And please check with your doctor before making any decisions or changes. They need to be in the know...and can monitor your progress.
Be sure you have a 'good' doctor though. You are very knowledgeable yourself Sandra and have been doing a lot to take care of yourself over the years. Find a doctor who knows more than you do, keeps up with current research and the progress of various procedures and drugs used over time, and is able to 'know' the percentages of side effects and alternatives available in case they need to make a change in your program. Ask lots of questions. Don't just trust that any doctor is going to know what they're doing. I grew up around doctors and veterinarians. Some stay so busy that they never read any medical journals nor are they aware that some meds and procedures are no longer applicable in today's fast moving world. There can be better treatments available. Before you get any major surgery like a pace maker, do your research, get one of more '2nd opinions', pray, and listen for guidance. You may actually need one. Then again, it's likely that you do not. Don't just take one 'doctor's' word for it - especially one that hasn't listened to you and given bad advice in your experience already. That's a red flag. There are other good doctors out there. But always, always, listen to your own guidance, especially since God guides you life and you check in with him daily. Much love to you.
Thank you Susan, but it looks even better in this video because I had a smudge on the back camera lens!😂I couldn’t figure out why it looked so foggy, I kept cleaning the front lenses!

Congrats on ur grand baby 🍼I take Metroprolol when I feel my heart racing..infact, I love it it calms my heart down, but I don't take it every day..every time u go to the drs,do they give a cardigram?Medications can give u side effects... I would get a second opinion!!! Oh wow, Sandra, I hope u feel better ❤ God bless✝️🙏❤️
I love that name it reminds me of the boxer Evander Holyfield.. I would definitely not fool around with your heart. The same thing happened with my neighbor. He is 76. He’s had a heart attack when he was 42 and almost died he was going to his regular internist for years, and he hadn’t felt well. They ended up doing an echocardiogram and he had a blood clot and he now has a cardiologist who is changing his medication and is monitoring the blood clot. His heart function rate is only 25%. I will be praying for you that you make the right decision. I haven’t been on for a while, but I’m back now.❤❤love Otis🐶and me, Massachusetts❤ I have one great grandchild who is 12 and I have 12 grandchildren who are all grown.😮
Gosh I’ve done so well on that med since my heart attack in 2008 and 3 stents placed with 1 artery blocked 100% and 2 at 75%. I was on blood thinner Plavix, my arms always had those ugly blood thinner black bruises. Then a yr ago I had a stroke. A clot traveled in my cerebellum traveled up and then made a u turn thank goodness. Only remnant of having stroke is I forget the stupidest things and I just don’t feel 100% so I’ve had to cut back on doing certain things things. I live in fear. So please always get Drs approval before stopping Ed. Sounds like they needed to adjust dosage, a lower dose mgs. When I had stroke I wasn’t taking blood thinner thus reason ba clot formed so back on it for rest of my life, Im 74:.
Sandra,I'm sorry that you had to go through this. My husband was on Metroprolol for his heart. He began hallucinating ,and was seeing people walking through his room. He did have some night time confusion called sundowning, but after talking with his cardiologist about the hallucinations, she agreed to take him off of it.The hallucinations stopped after that. It is always good to learn about the possible side effects of your medicines and you can usually read about them online. I am a retired Registered nurse , and had access to books about drugs and had looked up each medicine that my husband was taking and found that hallucinations were listed as a possible side effect in some patients for that medicine.
Oh, wow! I have never heard of that side effect. My deceased husband Larry had that same hallucination, but he had Alzheimer’s. I’m off that drug and hope to stay off .💕🥰
Beautiful babies! ..Oh Sandra that is so scary! Side effects from meds are so concerning. I'm not sure about your doctor though. She seemed to dismiss your concerns which is troubling. These were serious incidences that were happening to you. You are in my prayers! Please keep us posted and hopefully you have found the answer! Well wishes and prayers!🙏💝 Geri
Sandra that drug did the same to me, dropped my blood pressure and it was horrible. Thank God I had a cardia ablation and I’m off that med. feel 💯 better. Best I’ve felt in 3 years. Get a new cardiologist.
Sorry you are going through this but I will say that you should get a second opinion. I would never trust a doctor who told me I was "swooning". She seemed to be dismissive of your concerns. If this was a cardiologist, go to another one.
So they changed you from the Metoprolol to lisinopril Was it an easy transition or did it take several days? I am taking the metapro lol for tachycardia, but not feeling like it’s working that well, and it makes me dizzy.
I’m taking Topropal and was taking blood pressure medication from an incident in 2012. For two years I’ve been off blood pressure for the reasons you’ve had… suddenly feeling faint. A few weeks ago my cardiologist cut my topropal in half. On July 16 I will be completely off it. Only a cardiologist controls my heart and blood pressure medication. Hopefully your cardiologist can do the same with your cardio medication.
All: the blood pressure pill is called Metoprolol. Sandra, you may want to correct the spelling in the video title. Others have begun to copy what you wrote.
My dad was on that and they put him on a pacemaker too. Get another opinion!!!!! There are other meds to lower blood pressure. There is losartan, telmisartan, etc. There are many categories of meds, including water pills too. God....please help Sandra and no pace maker. Your will be done Lord Jesus. Amen
My husband has taken it for years with no problem, when he quits his heart races. But I don't think I need it at all. I will know more after results from Monitor I sent in.💕
OK, I cleaned the front camera lens, it was the little green light camera lens I use for selfies in my video. Thank you, you got me thinking on the right track. It's good now!💕😊
Sorry to hear this happened to you. So many Doctors prescribe unnecessary medications. My Mom was on so many pills and was addicted to opiods for years. I tried so hard to get her off them, but my Father was an enabler so there was nothing I could do. I truly believe that there are a lot of Doctors that don’t know what they are doing. Big pharma has made them pill pushers. I hope you find a great doctor cause that’s what you deserve. I’m glad you are feeling better now that you are off that medication. God bless you, Sandra💕

I will definitely keep you and your family in my prayer. 😢🙏

Belinda thank you, the results from second heart monitor worn for 3 days after getting off Metoprolol shows I have a lot of heart pausing. My doctor wants me to make apt. with my heart doctor and when I get back from Indiana in August to wear the heart Monitor for a full week. I can't get into the heart doctor till August 13th. I feel fine, no more fainty spells since being off Metoprolol.

I took metropotrol for about one year, the PCP prescribed it to lower my blood pressure. It did not lower my blood pressure but lowered my heart rate. I too would have these episodes where I would have a " head rush". I was taking a high dose of it. My PCP sent me to see a cardiologist who was very concerned about me taking a high dose and weaned me off of it slowly. I now just take a very low dose high blood pressure medication. I have experienced fatigue ( extreme sometimes) and dizziness from taking high blood pressure meds and I have come to the conclusion that happens when the meds are too strong.
Hi Sandra! My mom had a bad reaction taking that same medication and made her very tired and dopey. I requested she be taken off and she immediately went back to acting normal. I definitely think it was the medication that was making you feel that way. My cousin also said the same thing. I’m not a Dr but please don’t take it. I know it’s what was causing your problem. When I heard you mention it in the beginning I cringed and wanted to tell you then but didn’t say anything. Praying for your good health..love you 💖 God Bless You, Mr. Bill & Millie 💖🌸🌷💗

Yes. I so agree to get off the medicines. And I look forward when you are off the Lisinopril. I think we need to be our own advocate at times. But I also think that there are some doctors that have been anointed by God that are great doctors. Blessings to you and Mr.Bill.
Just remember, the first time you wore the heart monitor you didn't feel faint either and expected it to be fine. Hopefully this test will be normal. I hope you mailed it in!

How interesting, thanks for sharing! 💕🥰
I got a pacemaker at 68. It sounds worse than what it is. It was an adjustment for a while and now 3 yrs later I don’t think about it.
I’m glad it worked out for you.💕🥰
It's absolutely unbelievable that you,so beautiful and smooth skinned and energetic, are over 80.
Thank you Susan, but it looks even better in this video because I had a smudge on the back camera lens!😂I couldn’t figure out why it looked so foggy, I kept cleaning the front lenses!
@@Sandrabrownhappinesspast60 and you are humble ,as well. Luv ya,girl
Sending prayers ❤
Thank you!💕🥰🙏
Congratulations on your new grandbaby ❤
He's so cute!
And God bless that the doctor did a real checkup on your heart 💓
Hope everything gets better now.
All my love to you Sandra, and Mr Bill too 🙏🥰💞
You are in my prayers ❤❤❤
Thank you so much!💕🥰
Run don’t walk from that “ doctor “!! You can have a heart attack stopping metoprolol cold turkey!!!
I didn’t know that. Thank you for the heads up.💕🥰
Congrats on ur grand baby 🍼I take Metroprolol when I feel my heart racing..infact, I love it it calms my heart down, but I don't take it every day..every time u go to the drs,do they give a cardigram?Medications can give u side effects... I would get a second opinion!!! Oh wow, Sandra, I hope u feel better ❤ God bless✝️🙏❤️
Thank you Linda.💕🥰
Wow! You are so blessed to have such a big family.💕🥰
Oh, I’m sorry to hear that about the stroke. God bless you with good health from now on!💕🥰🙏
You may need to try another medication. I take Cavidelol.
Thank you.💕🥰
Sandra,I'm sorry that you had to go through this.
I take beta blockers but not metropolol . I’ve been on them for many years and I’ve never had any issues. I’m almost 72 now.
Oh, wow! I have never heard of that side effect. My deceased husband Larry had that same hallucination, but he had Alzheimer’s. I’m off that drug and hope to stay off .💕🥰
Big hugs!! Listen to your gut instincts! They are always right!!
Thank you, I will💕🥰🇺🇸
Beautiful babies! ..Oh Sandra that is so scary!
Thank you Geri, I will keep you updated.💕🥰

Hi Sandra, I'm glad you are feeling better but may be a second opinion please take care Sandra and you are in my prayers ❤🙏❤
Thank you Lorraine, I’m looking into that.💕🥰
Omg! Why did it take her THAT LONG to tell you you flattened? Please check out Dr Berry!
I will!💕🥰
Sandra that drug did the same to me, dropped my blood pressure and it was horrible. Thank God I had a cardia ablation and I’m off that med. feel 💯 better. Best I’ve felt in 3 years. Get a new cardiologist.
I have an appointment!!💕🥰
Praying for you Sandra!!! ♥️🙏
Thank you Jean.💕🥰
Please Stay on your blood thinner, you don’t want to have a stroke.
Thank you.💕🥰
Prayers for you to get better 🙏🏼 Congratulations 🎊 for your new grandchild 🎉
Thank you so much!💕🥰
@@Sandrabrownhappinesspast60 you’re so very welcome 🤗
Your great grand babies are beautiful! Keep your eye on your blood pressure, you don’t want to have a stroke.
I will!💕🥰
Find a natural path doc.
Sorry you are going through this but I will say that you should get a second opinion. I would never trust a doctor who told me I was "swooning". She seemed to be dismissive of your concerns. If this was a cardiologist, go to another one.
Thank you.💕🥰
My husband took Metoprolol for awhile. It flat-lined his heart rate, as well. Very potent Beta-Blocker.
Oh wow!
I guess you are not a boxing fan! EVANDER HOLYFIELD.
That is what my husband told me! I remember that name now!
So they changed you from the Metoprolol to lisinopril Was it an easy transition or did it take several days? I am taking the metapro lol for tachycardia, but not feeling like it’s working that well, and it makes me dizzy.
They just took me totally off all at once.💕🥰
@@Sandrabrownhappinesspast60😊
I’m taking Topropal and was taking blood pressure medication from an incident in 2012.
For two years I’ve been off blood pressure for the reasons you’ve had… suddenly feeling faint.
A few weeks ago my cardiologist cut my topropal in half. On July 16 I will be completely off it.
Only a cardiologist controls my heart and blood pressure medication.
Hopefully your cardiologist can do the same with your cardio medication.
To be honest when I went to see him I forgot to mention it to him!💕
Prayers to you. Wow so awful. Get another doctor's opinion. Rather safe than sorry. Love and hugs
Thank you so much.💕🥰🙏
Thank you.💕🥰
All: the blood pressure pill is called Metoprolol. Sandra, you may want to correct the spelling in the video title. Others have begun to copy what you wrote.
Thank you! It’s changed!💕
Amen
Thank you Mary.💕🥰
I've been taking that medicine for over 2 years because of my open heart surgery I haven't had any problems like that
My husband has taken it for years with no problem, when he quits his heart races. But I don't think I need it at all. I will know more after results from Monitor I sent in.💕
Hi Sandra, I was on Lisenipril, my husband, my brother n law, my mother n law and it made us all dissy
I take that same drug and have for years with no dizziness, it's different for everyone because we are all unequally made. 💕😊
I think your camera lens is dirty 😊 or maybe I need to clean my tv screen 😅..it looks a little hazy.
I wiped the lens before shooting, I think the close up setting was on . I turned it off, I’m working on it . Thanks for letting me know me know.💕🥰
OK, I cleaned the front camera lens, it was the little green light camera lens I use for selfies in my video.

Whenever someone tell me their on that drug, I always tell them to take BP daily.
I do that daily. Thanks for the reminder.💕🥰
It is the medication, I changed doctors, also me no more meds.😝
Ruby, I’m on a quest to get off all meds.💕🥰

😳Oh Sandra, I was on that medicine for a little while and stepped myself off of it when the quack said I didn’t have a cardiac issue. My husband was having the dizziness or swooning 😒 and the doctor reduced his to half a pill daily. He hasn’t been having those issues with dizziness since the reduction. I will definitely keep you and your family in my prayer. 😢🙏
Thank you Cindy.💕🥰
@@Sandrabrownhappinesspast60 You are so welcome 😊
Please research a new Dr!!!!
I’m thinking about that, actually soon.💕🥰
Bless your heart. My husband and I are both on that medication. He falls asleep constantly and complains about being tired. I tried to get off of it but every time I do, my heart starts flipping and flopping around the time I should take it. So I end up taking it again.
Jean, my husband takes it and he does well with it, but I don't think I need it.💕😊
@@Sandrabrownhappinesspast60 Everyone is so different when it comes to medication. Some good some bad. I'm glad you figured out that it was the meds and avoided the pace maker! God Bless 🙏❤️
Miss Sandra, I am praying for your heart health. Please update us. - Belinda
I think it’s the medicine. I’m so glad you are feeling well!!
I take Metropropol too. I have a new grandbaby, Amelia. 😊
Oh, I forgot, I take it for blood pressure, not heart troubles.
Congratulations on that new granddaughter!!🎉💕🥰

Thank you so much I appreciate that. 💕🙏😊
Also I do not think doctors are taught to heal but to treat, that is very sad.
You’re absolutely right, a doctor friend of mine told me that.💕🥰
They always blame it on age. Trust your body! The side effects are real.
Thank you Mary.💕🥰

Hello Sandra, 🌻Thank you for talking to us while Mr. Bill is out at the Bible study. Your dear gd has gotten married in Mexico.May their union be a blessed one💐 My late mil used to say often, 'Life goes on!'
I, too, agree that you need to get a 2nd opinion in regards to the side effects this drug is causing you. Have they said when you are going to be off it? I look up names of prescribed drugs and read up on side effects, risks and the like online. In this day and age, we really need 2b respectfully pro active.
A sincere prayer for you. Dear Abba Father, ty 4 loving us perfectly and reminding us our days are appointed by You. We ask that You would keep ur daughter Sandra safe. Make her heart strong. Guide her in seeking n finding the best care that addresses her concerns. Father, it is a maze out there in the medical system, grant ur daughter the calm n discernment to find the best treatment. Father we trust You with our lives. In Jesus Name. Amen🙏
Oh sweetheart I just found your comment and lovely prayer for me. That is so kind of you. God bless you.💕🥰
Sandra, your grand babies are beautiful. I think you have an irregular heart rhythm and need a pacemaker. It’s a simple procedure and insures a healthy heart rhythm. Get another dr. You need a good cardiologist. Be sure to let Dr know immediately if you have concerns. Don’t wait until a next appt. You have everything to live for and have a healthy life. Prayers and blessings
Thank you Jean! 😊💕
You should have corrected your doctor by saying, "no if I remember correctly you said I was swooning and getting older.". Are you kidding me??? Sandra, you need to find another doctor . One that cares. ❤️🙏
You know what they call a doctor that graduated last in their class. DOCTOR
I know Nancy, maybe I should have said that, but she’s a little edgy.💕🥰
The babies are so beautiful, look at those baby blues on Wren! I have 6 grandchildren, different ages and teenagers..one day God willing, I would love great grands! I hope your health is resolved, it seems like it was the medicine being that you didn’t have anymore fainting…and YOU suggested it to the doctor, oh my! Prayers Sandra…you look well and talk well but what medicine would she replace it with?
So far it was not replaced, she just took me off of it, which I’m happy about. No more fainty spells.💕🥰
Thank you for sharing your medication experience. That must have been quite troubling. I take this med fir HBP.. You look great and am happy to hear you figured out the problem. Take care and blessings to you and Mr. Bill
Yes, thank you Margaret.💕🥰
Hi Sandra, is this Dr of yours a Cardiologist if so I’d find someone else for definitely a 2nd opinion. I’m on the hunt for an Internist Dr now that I’m 70, all I have is a GP and a Gynecologist. Maybe we need a Geriatrician at our age? Your Great grand babies are adorable.❤🙏🏻

Thank you for sharing, very informative.💕🥰
Praying for your good health..love you 💖
God Bless You, Mr. Bill & Millie
💖🌸🌷💗
Thank you for sharing, very helpful.💕🥰
Hi Sandra. Thank God they found that. A second opinion with a cardiologist may be a good thing.
It could be it was too much amount? I had a second opinion and I feel more confident about things.
God Bless you and Mr Bill. Let's all pray for one another. Darling grand children.
Thank you, I have an appointment with Cardiologist soon!💕🥰
Sandra, I am on Metoprolol and I wanted too ask you or anyone seeing this if it has caused weight gain on them.? Thank you all.
So thankful you are doing ok!!❤
Well, I have had weight gain, but not sure it’s from the Metoprolol.💕🥰
I agree with nowandthen, you need a new Dr. She should have listened when you said it could be your meds. We know our own bodies, whwn something is wrong.I'll be praying for you.

Thank you so much!💕🥰
Yes. I so agree to get off the medicines. And I look forward when you are off the Lisinopril. I think we need to be our own advocate at times. But I also think that there are some doctors that have been anointed by God that are great doctors. Blessings to you and Mr.Bill.
I totally agree!💕🥰
Beautiful grandchildren for sure. I sure will pray for you and better health. No pace maker for you. Bless you
Thank you Donna.💕🥰
Just remember, the first time you wore the heart monitor you didn't feel faint either and expected it to be fine. Hopefully this test will be normal. I hope you mailed it in!
I did have some fainting spells, but not bad. I did send it in! Thanks!💕🥰

I would find a new doctor period!! When doctors look at us and lump us all in the same basket because we’re aging things happen is a bunch of you know what. THANK YOU BILL for going in to the doctor’s office with her. EVERYONE needs to take someone with them.
Thank you. I'm looking into that.😊💕
@@Sandrabrownhappinesspast60 It appears you have worked so hard on staying strong and healthy. I’m almost 70 and I have to remind doctors to not look at my age. Look at how I’m living. I had a very honest MD tell me a month ago that the medical group he works for actually gives spiffs for how many blood pressure and cholesterol prescriptions they write and then he looked at me and said I don’t practice medicine that way. Thank goodness!
Again, CHANGE doctors!!!!
I might!💕🥰
