It’s exactly what I’ve heard said by others like Anya; the pain of speaking up and the following events make them feel like it would’ve been better to stay quiet. Anya blaming herself for what happened throughout the song is gut-wrenching and you did such an incredible job with this piece! I love Mouthwashing and hope this video gets the attention it deserves ^^

(especially "I'm sorry to have failed everyone", "wish that I could wash away the sins of yesterday", "I guess I should have been more grateful, not looked for a way out", "my fault, how could I allow something so depraved"... haha yeah basically all the self-blaming ones, I just think it fits him too post-crash.)
