- Training for acrobatic demo solo on the french combat Aircraft : Mirage 2000. The pilot drive his plane until the limit (of his body). Live this experience in the cockpit with Gregory Prats, Yannick Vallet, Fabrice Camliti, Francois Forget.
Seriously....you gotta love those delta wings! The Mirage 2000 really is the plane i like the most.
Beautiful video, amazing too see first hand the physical conditioning required by all fighter pilots.
Its used for advanced jet training by the Navy and Marine Corps. The original design is old but there are two versions of it...the T-45A and T-45C. The charlie came into service around 1992 so in terms of training jets, its relatively new. It has a full glass cockpit so it makes for a great stepping stone for the F-18 and Harrier. I believe one of the European countries even used a version of it as a light attack jet at one point.
i am a fighter pilot in INDIAN AIR FORCE and i have flyed french made mirages they are really nice ...........hat's off to france for making jets like mirage........and i have gone through g-force...it mainly occures when we fly at high speed and do manovers
He is working hard in that cockpit. Im still amazed at what these guys go through, and manage to stay ontop of it all.
Anybody who thinks of becoming a fighter pilot should watch this video.... It is a tough job. The video really show the physical effort of the pilot ...
É o melhor vídeo que eu já vi!!!!
O MELHOR...THE BEST!!!
Congratulations.
I used to have the Mirage 2000 model. Beautiful lines- one of my favorites.
SUPERB!!! man n machine duet!!!!
Mirage 2000-MK2 my personal fav!!!!
Hello Mirage 2000 RDI ... 😉 les z'ailes du haut doubs
Superb; great flying, very nice movie. Thank you! Enjoyed it!
French pilots, number one,,,, kisses from Spain
The ultimate blend of man and machine. these jets can only perform as much as the man can deliver ;)
The pilot may be very healthy and proud of himself. Congrats to him and the plane. =)
Superbe démonstration.
Sacrément impressionnant.
Belle démonstration.
Merci
The spring compresses by itself under G Forces as well so it will move right along with the seat instead of absorbing anything. Think of it as holding a spring and moving your hand up and down, the spring compresses with the accelerations.
music is just simply " woooo" .Nice video
One of my all time favorite planes.
Merci pour cette sympathique
petite promenade . . .
I gotta say, French pilots are some of the ballsiest in the world. Borderline nuts but I sure wouldn't want to tangle with them. Respect.
Vive le coq, vive dassault. I like the french, as they talk in english (accent) and love the aircraft they make. Tres bien video et audio, mes compliments!
Vive le Mirage et le Super Etendard¡¡¡¡From Argentina¡¡¡¡1982 , Je me souviens¡¡¡¡
WARF ! excellent ! houps... à couper le souffle....
ha purée ces pilotes !
Very good maneuver!
Red Flag 2010 Las Vegas. GREEK pilots were flawless and scored 13-0 during dogfights with some off the best pilots in the world flying with Mirage 2000-5.Every day our pilots are "dog fighting " with Turkish(TAF) armed F-16s over the Aegean . Greek pilots are the BEST . CHEERS!!!!!!
Impressive, truly impressive.
Today I had the sad news that I have a slightly defect right eye (0.2 convex correction needed), meaning I wont be able to attend Ikari school (Greek fighter pilot school) that has been my dream my whole life...
I would fly Mirage 2000´s aswell if it wasnt for the barely existing problem in my eye.
I envy these guys more than ever...
Spectaculair messieurs! Fantastique. Mais, connais-vous le musique si'l vous plait?
I've seen a documentary on G-Force, the worst experience was done in USA on a guy sat in a rocket, he was propulsed at mach 3 and more, in the end his eyes were red because of blood pressure and he couldn't see during a week.
Really cool!
The pilot must be a superman!
what a wonderful aircraft
@trapgr1 In fact, they scored 11-0 against USAF in 2008, 5-0 first round and 6-0 (!) second round where the USAF added a F22 for added "awareness" as they called it.
altough I dont know how they did in 2010.
But seeing how we do against Turkish planes entering our airspace DAILY, not dropping a single dogfight the past 6 years against F-16 block 52´s used by TuAF, you can for sure say that Greek pilots are among the best in europe.
Salut vidéo fantastique ! Merci Paul.
Having fun! lol
Dont they have waist belts that tighten with increasing G force to prevent excessive blood from rushing from your head to your feet?
respects!! way to go dudes, keep it up!
But than I have a question ; Why wants many countries the F35 instate of the Mirage ?
Iif the Mirage is so outstanding good than is it for me the question why not order this plane ?
É foda!
Mesmo com o traje especial anti-g é um tal de encolher a barriga e e respirar entre os dentes que não é fácil!
Belo Vídeo!
That pilot is a monster!!!!!
the french air force magazine:"air actualités",
as well as DSI international, the french equivalent to "jane's weekly",as far as i know, the last one is actually sold in the US
there are reports of a gripen also downing one,in the same training conditions
but don't worry, for one raptor shot;there are still about a hundred of it's opponents knowing the same fate...
Ótimo vídeo, agora vamos para os Rafale.
hey cap'n kirk, thanks for the info about the nosa(not an instructor),as for thrust vectoring;well,it's the litttle things you know...
The problem is that if something over you hold you so your "indicated" weight is lighter than your normal weight, you will for sure be lighter even with 9g, but the problem is that the acceleration applied on the body will be the same. And it's that acceleration that makes it difficult for pilots, and makes the blood go to (or from) the brain, causing G-loc, not how much weights the pilot.
@natsplit Are you serious? I mean , how can a computer detect if your doin a blackout? It make no sense to me lol. Is this in any other jet like su-27 , F-15 , 18 or just in the Mirage 2000 ? (sorry for my bad english)
What crash are you talking about?
is the refueling probe always sticking out on these planes?
yeh sure i totally agree :)
snecma doesnt want to work on a new turbine for the mirage because they're alreday working at upgrading the engine of the rafale.
so yeh the mirage will last for like ten years, but after that its over, straight to the museum ;)
what if they black out and the plane crash can that happen?
Has the T-45 replaced the T-38 Talon? Cause it looks very much like it.
Yes, I fly a T-45 Goshawk...European design and its a nice little jet...the Frenchies like it too!
watch mirage g-block,the pilot faints, and he can thank god he was in a twin seater version, his instructor saved the day
Oh ! Comme ils prennent cher les pilotes !!! Mes respects.
sorry for dumb question but what does g-force mean?
nice video!!
wow! the force he's enduring! 5*
No, I'm a 1st LT in the Marine Corps. I don't care to go back and forth answering questions on here...if you have a question then just message me.
2000-9 is the latest one. its a very succesful aircraft, greatly appreciated by several countries.
latest versions are the equivalent of the f16 or mig29 in term of capabilities, so no, i don't think it will disapear soon ;)
beside the french badly need the mirage for another couple of years, just the time for the rafale to be fully operational, to the F3 standard with a new radar, jet engine, and full air/air air/ground capabilities.
What is the benefit of a delta wing?
Wow he really is pushing himself to the max!
No, the acceleration you support is the same. It's application would just be less violent, but exactly the same acceleration forces.
It's true you won't lose anything to try submitting your idea, even if I think it has been studied before.
Actually it was his navigator who woke him up [he has been awarded for that]
delta winged jets have the advantage of a faster climb and can carry more fuel(in their wings) but they have the disadvantage of visability. but mirages are sexy jets.
name of song...? great video!
the rafale was made primarly to meet french requirements. they needed a plane to replace the super etandard, the mirage F1 and the jaguar, and later on, all the mirage 2000 series.
"When u cantsell rafale sell upgrades. else you lose eventhatmarketshare"
well india is going to upgrade all its mirage planes to the latest standard, just like argentina and moroco, so i don't think the french are losing market share, even if nobody want to buy the rafale for now
@sideslick1024 I Think He Is Able To Cope With The Constant G's Because He Has Oxegen Because At That Many G's You Would Harldy Be Able To Breathe Plus He Has Probably Flown For Years Under Those Conditions
Me too but I have absolutely no idea on how you will try to reduce the G-force on a pilot. I think there is no manner to do so.
would the pilot die instantly if the air supply went out?
what's the name of song? can anyone tell us?
When can I buy one?
nice video
What does the beep mean ?
more twist....great man...
Respect....
i have and idea how to reduce the g force when pilots are in this situation like this video... well i would like to share my ideas but with who..
Does anyone know the name of the music?
I wanna know too. WHATS THE SONG?!
Also, whats the name of the song?
No, the problem is that, in effect, your blood gets heavier. And as it gets heavier, it flows to your legs, because your circulatory system is designed for a 1G situation.
If you want to design something that will make pilots weightless, you have to invent "anti-gravity"... which is not a small feat.
They use it in Star Trek all the time!
anyone knows the song?? it's awesome!
@dolippa man that suck's. What part of Greece you're from? I,m from Pygros.
Frenchs, the best pilots in the world, In Aire 06 in Murcia the best over the best, the mirage 2000,,,, guauuuuuuu
@capitaine1971 Silence strikes when the fact shows that Peru flies Mirage 2000's themselves..
have you ever fly a Mirage?
This must be a very strong pilot, indeed.
And the guys from the ground yell "push, come on, push!" The overload must be horrifying, indeed.
Awsome!!!!!!
What is the song?
I like to watch the control surfaces.
astma or something ?
can anyone pleas name the song
whats the song
Agora em Brasil!!
whats the music name!!!!
9 G's are the shit.. But as soon as it's drawn-out, you'll have something in your pants.. Love the Gripen
aimed at me? no im not a pilot...i never said i was so stop with your name calling...all i said was how i would prefer to experience high g-forces...where did u get me being a pilot from?
that looks way fun
@187Unseen
OK, my hands are up, my comment was a bit flippant. Seriously though, it seems to me that flying like that knocks the hell out of the human body despite pressure devices and the like. I imagine fighter pilots are through by the time they get to their mid thirties and look for careers in less stressful flying like airline pilots. Modern jets can pull G well beyond the pilots ability to stay conscious and the day not far off before he sits at a computer flying it remotely.
flying at mirages full potential
cannon can be used for troops in ground support.
i never talked of the mig35 or jsf, u can't compare a mirage and those planes, its just stupid.
rafale can compete with mig35 or jsf, but not the mirage :)
