Best philosophy related channel on you tube. Irreplaceable amount of old content that could have easily been lost.

After studying Zen Buddhism, H is the closest philosopher who tried the most difficult Chinese philosophy from western POV. His thoughts reach to a very close point. Other philosophers are still playing or researching on a linear scale. Good job H

@@ALANTHONYDEVELEZ nope. Japanese zen was originated from India via China. Modern Indian no local practiced Buddhism yet Japanese Zen Buddhism only focuses on the form and sitting and breathing and that is all. Modern china Zen Buddhism teaches zen practices about life, time and being. Just like Carl Jung, H also absorbed a lot of concepts of China Buddhism

Schopenhauer precedes Heidegger in this respect. He was the first Western philosopher to deal seriously with Eastern philosophy, such as Buddhism specifically, and Schopenhauer drew far more profound conclusions from it than Heidegger.

So glad I was forced to get through Being and Time. A daunting book but well worth it!

Interesting philosophy. Philosophy is not a subject I enjoy putting a lot of time into. I know some of it is important to the foundations of modern mathematics.

Rural communities are very tradition bound and hostile to authenticity and individuality. No small dose of Arcadian idealism at play. I believe that for Kant, the salient feature of humanity is the ability to have aims/goals/desires and act deliberately toward their satisfaction. This view necessarily contains a temporal dimension. Maybe this overrated unrepentant Na...meh

I think his metaphysics and ontological insights were interesting but his fetish fir authenticity lead him to think that ignorance was bliss. Perhaps he was a highly sensitive person and disdained cities and all it brought about bc it antagonized his nervous system .

“Like all waves of the electromagnetic spectrum, radio waves travel at the speed of light. The speed of light in a vacuum is 299,792,458 meters per second, often approximated simply as 3 x 108 m/s.”
Armed with information above, it is not hard to understand visible universe is a #noise, #voice #vibration . Probably organized by some kind of #mathematical structure
