I just love the "furyo" vibe this game has, furyo Mangas and movies are some of my favorite piece of art from Japan and I'm glad that RGG did a Yakuza game inspired by furyo stuff. I wish that Kurohyou would come back for a third game, a remake or even just a cameo of Tatsuya in a mainline Yakuza game.
what i love the most about the Kurohyou games are the side jobs minigames, theyre pretty fun and i hope they do return if Kurohyou got a 3rd game or any of the future Judgment and Yakuza games! I couldnt even focus on the main story because of the side job minigames.

The instant I saw you could play this on an actual PSP I kind of inwardly squealed a bit, I finally have one of those. Guess it’s off to Amazon to find a copy.
One thing I find neat about Kurohyou is that no two enemies look the same compared to Mainline Games. Like the gang members you face in random street fights (Diablo, DIS, KINGDOM & Death Corps) all have randomly generated looks, outfits and style they fight with compared to a few pre-set appearances or so for enemy types, meaning that no two battles can be the same. Diablo members wearing black/white/gold and having more "rough & tumble" styles, DIS having Hip Hop-based outfits and being the grapplers of the bunch with Pro Wrestling/Jiujitsu, KINGDOM looking like Host Club workers with flashy clothes and having more "exotic" fighting styles like Bajiquan, and Death Corps being the High School Delinquent type along with having styles that would've been seen at a local club like Boxing or Karate. It's awesome.
I am kinda sad l deleted this game after beating it on different eng sub because of tornaments bug l could t 100% game 😢 maybe in the future l will beat game again but on hard and beat Secret boss Kurohyou is amazing Kurohyou bosses >kiwami 2 bosses dead after 2 hits
i agree. if they do make a kurohyou remake, id be fucking happy and hopefully, that will the be the case at the fall rgg summit or whatever. who knows!
Nice showcase. This is great. I was disappointed that this game didn't exist in English, and after seeing an overview like this, I would have been even _more_ disappointed, because it looks fantastic. Also, a lot of people don't realise this, but it's 'pique' not 'peak' (in the description).
2:08 you dont have just one rush combo, you have one string per input then strings based on dpad input. So most styles have 3-4 for each button, back for heavy hits, towards for fast, down for lows, and up for highs sometimes if thats not just neutral. So you get 7-8 mixable strings that can be leveled to add more and upgrade, with styles having different numbers of hits per strings, and any string can be canceled into the appropriate spot of another, meaning you get a combo system of not so much one rush combo, but like, thousands of combinations of strikes in various strings.
If I wanted to play this when it released on a modded psvita would it b possible to get the English patch? I’m confused on what u mean by playing the patch on native hardware I assumed this translation would be emulator exclusive?
Most likely, because they (this team) translated second game and it worked with PPSSPP. Soo why should it not work on emulators (I played both games through emulators)?

I just tried it out, Iv only played like 7 hours of yakuzu 0 and few hours of like a dragon.. those games are trash in comparison to this. The combat is thrilling and wild in this Im suprised they dint keep the same close up camera and brutal gameplay. 0 seems like a downgrade in comparison to this psp in terms of combat its just so much more thrilling.

I like sequel better but this was a pretty good game and the limitations of the psp even better
