Fitting extra weights | Bona FlexiSand 1.9

To increase the performance of Bona FlexiSand 1.9, the machine can be used with two extra weights of 7 kg each. In this video we'll show you how to fit the extra weights. Please note that new models come with pre-drilled holes in the chassis.

Thanks for your question ladjkaoz! The weights have been specifically designed for Bona FlexiSand 1.9 and can’t be used with Bona Buffer. We do not recommend using the extra weights with Quattro and Multidisc as the heavy weight is not needed for fine sanding.

er, the Quattro isn't just used for fine sanding btw. And this Heath Robinson affair, getting the customers to drill and tap their own machines shows up the difference between Lager and Bona, er lol.

Hi Toby, we've created this video for owners of early FlexiSand 1.9 models (before 2017) who want to retrofit extra weights themselves. Later models have pre-drilled holes by default. Of course we're offering this upgrade for older machines as a service too.
