There’s no debating the turbo setup is faster. IMO though, they’re boring. They’re like the drag racing version of F1…..yes, they’re the fastest most technologically superior class, but there’s no action. I believe they’re giving incentives to keep the blower and nitrous cars in the field (and in turn keep the fans). An all turbo Pro-Mod series would never last.
It's certainly true that the "fastest" doesn't always bring fans, NHRA has proved that for years, and they still don't understand why they can't make $, but I love turbo cars.
@@rpturbo I enjoyed learning about turbos, (starting in the Grand National days), and from a performance perspective, they are VERY impressive. From a fan perspective though, I miss the days of the Lenco shifted ProMods where the cars were outta control and you had to be half crazy to actually drive one. The energy at the track was next level back then.
